If they’re gonna get a road game, the Sixers need it to be game 1 or game 5. Game 1 is the more likely shot. Game 2 is the least likely because of the off days and James Harden in Miami.

Job one for the Sixers is for everybody to build up Mattise. Heat are already gonna play a lot of zone and they absolutely need his defense against Jimmy Butler. He’s really down right now. I think the public scrutiny about his vaccine stuff got in his head. He was bad in Game 5. They can’t win this series without that guy finding a way to make a contribution.

The Sixers need to make the Heat pay for playing Herro and Robinson. They need to hunt those guys with Maxey/Harden running action at them and they need to be efficient because those guys are gonna be making shots on the other end. Guys like Harden/Maxey/Niang are going to give them match ups to hunt.

These are the obvious ones. The 3 below they can honestly mix up in a few different ways but I think at the start of the series, it will look like this:

Lowry on Maxey
Tucker on Harden
Butler on Harris

I’m not 100% DG starts. It may go back to being Thybulle because the Sixers need to use him vs Butler. They likely need to guard him with a bunch of guys taking their turn but Thybulle has to be the primary. Does that change you up? Thybulle doesn’t really need to be guarded in the half court. Just eye balled. Some times use him to hide their worst defender and other teams like the Bucks will put Giannis on him so it frees Giannis up to roam and be more involved.
