Your LeBron hate is hilarious. Here's a recap of what LeBron did his first 10 years in the league.

-by his 3rd year he got the Cavs to the playoffs, they missed the playoff the previous eight years

-from '06 to '10 the Cavs went to the playoffs, first time ever the franchise went to the playoffs five years in a row

-in '07 he dragged a bad roster all the way to the Finals

-in his 9th & 10th year won it all

-in his first 10 years he went to the Finals four times

-8 of his first 10 years he went to the playoffs

-from '09 to '13 he won 4 MVP awards

Not that you were comparing the two. But here's what Embiid has done during his injury riddled career so far (8 years).

-his first 2 years in the league didn't play a game

-76ers have been to the playoffs the last five seasons but have yet to get outta the 2nd round

-this season Embiid cried to the media that nobody likes him
Yes the cavs have been blessed with infinity #1 picks anytime they felt like they wanted one. The cavs don't matter in this thread.

My comment wasn't about the Cavs. It was about LeBron's first 10 years in the league.

Lebron was a pussy with no killer instinct for a whole decade and then he developed it. It can be done when you want it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Pay attention to what you said.

He accomplished too much his first 10 years in the league to be a pussy with no killer instinct. That was my point. You're completely wrong in saying that.

I know the narrative but this one isn’t on Doc. Adults shouldn’t need a coach for them to show up and bring energy to a close out game. He’s the coach so he gets some blame but more blame belongs to Embiid and Harden.

When it keeps happening, its the coach.

Oops 8 years. My very minor mistake.

How many times has Embiid been to the conference finals?

How many times has Embiid been to the Finals?

The answer is zero. Which is the same number of rings, League MVP awards & Finals MVP's yer boy has.

The Sixers haven't been in the cellar in some time. They were the #1 seed in the east last season before choking, and have been in the playoffs every year for years. Their problem is that they keep losing in the first or second round, often to what look to be inferior teams on paper. They are front-runners in the sense that they look great when ahead on people, but the moment they get punched in the mouth they stagger and choke. Not mentally tough. I like Embiid but he is injury prone and his conditioning in the past has been subpar. It's sad when a 75-year-old Danny Green is the most willing dude on your team to take open shots, but that's what we are seeing. He's not making them all but I can't fault Danny's effort.

What your post reveals (a good post by the way) is that the post Process Sixers have become exactly what the Process was supposed to avoid…being a playoff team that never goes beyond round 2 of the playoffs. And yet…here we are.

The process failed. Hinkie did his job, Colangelo squandered his carefully assembled assets. Yes, Hinkie missed on picks too, but man Fultz over Tatum is particularly brutal.

I get that. Doesn’t absolve the actual players responsible for playing the game with no fire and energy

You're right, but as someone who now manages people, I can tell you that sometimes you need to stick a fire poker up your team's ass and remind them that they need to step up and turn up the urgency, now. That's part of being a boss. Rivers has a history of failing to close out games, and whatever he is doing isn't working in terms of getting players up for these big games.

That was a great trade for Boston. They were taking Tatum at 1 if Philly didn't trade up as I recall.

The league interrupted Hinkie putting together a dominant team. They'll let Miami or LA do it any old weasely way they want, but the Sixers are executing a plan and get fucking brian colangelo hung around their neck.

The media over-reacting about Embiid saying Harden needs to be more aggressive.

It's not a bad thing.

Screaming A saying that Harden is tanking to get Rivers fired and Dantoni hired.

I’d love to know what the players from his past teams who Doc just threw under the bus have to say about him

So, it wasn't really all his fault.
