Looks like JuJu didn't get the offers he was looking for, so he settled on KC, hoping to boost his value and try FA again next year.

That's usually an issue of practice effort and results. If someone is killing it in practice, they'll get some snaps regardless of their athletic ability. Hell, the Niners drafted a WR in the 1st rd that barely saw the field before he was traded away for some used footballs--the guy either didn't put in the practice effort or other WRs were simply showing better in practice. I mean....There is a reason that the guy went from starting 10 games one season to starting 3 games the next, right? And then the issue is whether, when given the chance to play, does he run the right routes, make the right adjustments, and produce...

Sims has all the athletic, height/weight/speed potential in the world, but now that he's entering his 5th season, his potential means JACK SQUAT.

If Sims had practice issues, they would not have resigned him.

Sims was relegated to a backup role because Dyami Brown was drafted, while Samuel and AH were brought in.

The staff tried to save face by getting what they paid for. They failed.

So, with the signing of Cam Sims, he should be WR4, right? I can't see how we draft or sign a Wr in free agency.

No reason not to draft a wr. None of the other options behind TM have proven successful in washington’s offense.

Not only that, but the more the offseason drags on, the more likely it is that TM is following in the footsteps of Cousins and Sherff, and playing his way onto another team.

And really, who could blame him?

Nobody should be comfortable in their jobs especially on offense: the oline can protect better, AG should be concentrating on fumbling less, samuels on his conditioning and injury prevention, sims on his speed, dyami brown on making an impact in practice to make an impact in games, logan thomas on getting better physically, and his blocking, and wentz on taking responsibility for his actions and refining his game which obviously isnt good enough.

Let's see if this analogy helps you.

Imagine one adult in a room desiring more adult company (this represents TM)
Then imagine two or three children entering that same room but they are teens. (this represents the rest of the receiving corp)
Does this satisfy TM's desire for more adults in the room with him?

lol Im saying most of this board wants to go WR at #11. Some people want a WR in FA. If this is true why sign back C. Sims?

For the same reason that they got Wince... desperation and a conservative mindset (meaning reluctance to change/upgrade)

look at the production at wr and you know we need a wr. what pick we make that is another story but to trot out brown and bates as weapons is blind homerism

So, give S. Sims 3M to be the #5 Wr?

You cant justify the production at WR last year b/c of a bad Qb and injuries. Brown and bates were drafted in the 3rd and 4th rounds. They were drafted to produce. We got our #2 Wr last year in Samuel. To write the guy off b/c of injury is just being a hater. If Samuel played the 17 games and underperformed I would agree but that is not what happened.

So let me get this straight. You are writing off a big money #2 Wr and you are writing off our 3rd round pick in one injury plagued year with a bad Qb??? LMFAO!!!

We need another pass rusher and MLB. If those positions don't get solved in FA, then those positions are in play at pick #11 not WR.

being on the field is needed to produce the stats dont all fall on the qb dean , we need a wr and an insurance TE if you want wince to succeed

and yes wr is definitely in play and DT is also in play more so then just a pass rusher

so if the BPA is wr i am pulling the trigger

Then how do you justify giving C. Sims 3M? If we draft a WR he becomes Wr#5 and he will be making 3M? Doesn't make sense. If you are thinking about adding a WR why bother signing Sims back? I agree Dt could be in play at #11. Depends how FA pans out. With JD back Wentz has enough weapons to succeed what is currently on the roster.

no just no they don't necessarily have to draft one at 11 they should trade down for more picks but Washington needs WR help badly opposite of McLaurin

I think what the deal is they need to draft one that can play. The Skins have drafted lots of WR .... same as safeties. Drafting one and drafting one that can play is a bid difference. Are we sure Dyami Brown is bust?

Dean I don’t have to justify stupid FO moves . If you want wince to succeed he needs wrs who get get open and are reliable catching the ball . And no JD doesn’t make up for it , it’s a piece

Whos worth? Sims? Ijust find it hilarious that Sims signs back as the 4wr and you still want to draft a WR. Im not saying he is a unstoppable weapon. Im saying why did the FO sign him back? You said we still need Wr's. so why sign him back?

You have to know that every team has players who are designated as special teamers. Thus far Sims is that.

at 3m per year? He doesnt return punts or kickoffs. You would think at this contract they are looking at him to be a WR.
