Wilson leaving the NFC to join the AFC still with a good chunk of his prime left is also a seismic shift in the NFL. This was pretty close to the worst case scenario as a Chiefs fan. Broncos have had years of sucking to build up a solid roster to surround Wilson.

I'd imagine the haul would be insane for Carroll to move off of Wilson since he didn't seem too keen on a rebuild.

My random guess is Chubb is one of the players involved since the Seahawks desperately need pass rush.

Now the question is what the Hawks plan at QB is now.

I think the shift had happened earlier....but this just furthers the divide.

An AFC team with the 12th best QB in their conference (out of 16 remember) would have a top 3-4 QB in the conference if they were in the NFC.

Like I said it started a little earlier, but heading into this coming season is really going to be a MASSIVE shift in conference power moving forward. And one that likely wont change much for 5-7 years.
