Now I am reading Paramount + does not have the rights to past seasons of Autralian Survivor while a new season is on. No notice, no nothing. just delete the show. I also read a number of people that cancelled their suscriptions over this.

So basically you have to wait til the current season ends?

That should be about a month or so.

Where can Americans view S7 legally? Is P+ supposed to carry that?


Relatedly, apparently S8 has already been filmed and S9 is almost ready to start production. If the streaming stats for Aussie is good in the US, we will likely get South Africa as well. I suspect we will get it within a year or so.

S7 have to use links. Dailymotion is the most reliable. I never have trouble.

S6 came on paramount probably within a week of being done airing. So 7 may be the same.

Australia has not filmed anything beyond 7 yet.

I see the series page (I have it favorited), but it is empty. All episodes have been removed.

S7 is about half over. Hopefully they throw them back up once this season ends. Its been a pretty good premerge.

So in the meantime my wife and me decide to go back and watch old seasons we didn't see. Most of the way through season 7 and now we get a buffering error, but only on Survivor. I am about done with this service.

I just watched ep 1. So far I like the cast more than I liked last season’s cast, but it is still early.

2 series firsts in the first ep is an interesting start, though.

Haven't watched. Not sure if I really want to since how bad the last couple of seasons have been imo (minus Winners). But I did read a blurb about the trans guy who got pulled for lithium med complications. Kinda sounds like they probably could have let him stay imo and just kept an eye on it but I'm sure their lawyers are super duper dickwads about liabilities.

CBS put out a directive for all their reality shows to have something like 50% of the cast make up minority groups (different races, genders, sexualities, etc) to get a broader spectrum of the audience and appeal the show to all kinds of people. Apparently they left out attractiveness and just went full uggo.

He kept his Lithium use from the producers until days before shooting began. They apparently decided that the riggers of the show were too much for someone weening themselves off of Lithium and had too many possibilities of serious complications.

I think this cast has a lot of potential.

Hopefully the show doesnt focus too much on the advantages and lets the cast continue to flesh out. They did a great job of it in the premeire.

That 3 person amulet advantage is not an advantage though. I would chuck that fucker in the ocean the moment there is a swap/merge.

I didn’t fully understand the amulet. So it can only be used if all three agree to it?
