Boston got better with White- nice deal for them.

the Nets just got a ton better- didnt have to give up Mills either. Lots of shooting around Simmons.

The Phillies basically are replacing Curry with Harden. Yikes.

Bucks added a center.

Cavs added a solid wing.

Toronto improved.

Heat and Bulls- did nothing.

What is your guys re-ordering of the East after the deadline?
1. Nets
2. Bucks
3. Sixers
4. Heat
5. Bulls (if healthy with full roster)
6. Cavs
7. Celtics
8. Raptors

That’s my idea of a power rating not a prediction of seeding. 2-4 is interchangeable for me. So is 5-7.

Man I still think the Bucks are freaking ridiculous. Giannis has so much around him, it's crazy but I totally get the Nets are scary too

Bucks needed 7 vs banged up Nets. I think this roster is better. That’s where I’m coming from. I’m also assuming best case scenario on a lot of what ifs for Nets. Everybody gets healthy. Simmons attaches himself to a role.

The only thing that will save the rest of us is the possibility of Steve Nash fucking it up haha.

Only the Nets could get rid of a jackass and get a jackass in return.

I hope nobody criticizes BS's game. He might pout.

In 2018 the Cavs were 31-22 when Cleveland GM Koby Altman traded six players and a pick in three separate deals to completely overhaul the roster and CLE made it back to the Finals. Today, with the Lakers at 26-30, LAL’s front office completed zero trades to change up the team

It's a silly statement, since the Lakers weren't really in position to make trades without throwing a first rounder into the mix for role players.

Yet the best three records are still in the West. The East is all behind the Grizz...
Thanks to the Nets being depleted all to hell.

here’s the what the Nets did: Gave away Jarret Allen, Caris Levert, four 1st round picks and three first round swaps, in exchange for….Ben Simmons and Seth Curry. Eeeesh.

Whereas, the Cavs got Allen and Levert for two 1st rounders in the mid/late-20s. Altman can laugh himself to sleep tonight.

Cavs deals were all for role players.....but I hear ya. Cavs definitely had more tradeable assets.

All not just the Nets.

It's clear the West is top heavy and the East has more good teams. But the top teams in the West are as good as the teams in the East (at full strength of course)
At full strength... the Nets are a monster... the best team in the NBA, and that's not a put-down of anyone else... the Nets ceiling is just crazy high...

A lot of "if's", though... obviously.

After that, we could fight about who would be #2... Golden State would have an edge in that conversation.

Suns are right there with the Warriors and both I think are pretty much equal to the Nets but there's a lot of story left to be written
