Right?

15 years ago people still got their news from mainstream media. Different sources had slants and biases to be sure, but nothing like today.

The internet is kind of breaking society.
Yup, now days you make money simply by getting someone to click on your story regardless of whether it has any merit or not. So much for journalism, it’s been gone a long time anyway.

We were fine until widespread use of social media. Now it just spreads the dumb around

Sean Payton hasn't decided if he will return to the Saints in 2022.
Think he wants to move on to a path that's not going to require a full rebuild.

The Saints, from after reading that Green Bay was faced with the 2nd toughest off-season as they're (the Packers) $44 mil over the cap and have to find a way to re-sign Adams and Rodgers; they're going to lose many pieces to that team hence why AR wants to leave GB (another reason). The Saints were described as having the toughest offseason coming up given their salary cap. Which is incredible as they're lacking a legit quality starting QB.

Think that's the main reason Payton wants out.

Rumor is he wants to retire and enter media

Is he losing his mind

Not sure. But that's a completely insane thing for Stockton to say. And I think it was last week Gonzaga revoked his season tickets because he refused to obey the school's mask mandates. He's brainwashed.

Dallas would be interesting.

After thinking about the NFL's OT...I'm not sure it needs to be changed much. Imo, the only problem with it is that it's kind of a half measure and seems somewhat arbitrary.

This, the game ends if the team that gets the ball first scores a touchdown, but not if they kick a field goal, just seems like it was thrown out there to appease people who didn't like the old "sudden death" rules.

Either go back to the old true "sudden death" where any score ends the game...or, each team gets the ball once and it's sudden death after that.

I think Stockton's concern is primarily geared towards Gonzaga's mask mandates at games. You look across the CFB landscape as an example, and some other in-door sports venues across the country, and you see inconsistencies in policies with little data deviation. Plus, there are multiple countries in Europe - UK, Denmark, Ireland, and several others that have scrapped vaccine and mask mandates altogether.

Maybe. I think their window was when Zeke was a top 5 RB, they had by far the best OL with Dak on his rookie contract. Don't think Dak's going to get much better and they're likely going to lose Amari Cooper.

I think his primary concern is being a brainwashed anti-vaxxer who thinks he's above Gonzaga's virus protocols.

And what about that insane statement from him? More than 100 pro athletes have dropped dead after getting the vaccine? There's no question Stockton has mental problems.

Ya, I think he embellished on the pro athletes numbers. I think it would've been in his best interest to deliver his point across in an accurate manner to simply bring up some athletes having to suddenly retire from heart issues post-vaccine and videos of soccer players simply dropping on the field (not necessarily death); but there's not enough data to support his hypothesis right now.

Yeah that's all they need to do because then you can't hear the BS about we didnt get the ball. If your defense is really bad then go for 2 to win the game after your score

I hate the argument of play defense for those that is satisfied with the current rules in the media liked stopping Mahomes and that offense is so easy

Can you post some legit info backing up what you claimed?

Please name all the pro athletes that had to suddenly retire due to heart issues after getting the vaccine. First I've heard of this.

As far as "simply dropping on the field", if you're talking about Christian Eriksen he wasn't vaccinated when that happened to him. Here's an article from usatoday- Fact check: Christian Eriksen didn't receive covid-19 vaccine before collapsing (6/20/21)

Sergio Aguero is one, and they won't nail it down to a vaccine.

Here's a list of athletes over in Europe that have had issues in the last year.

** = nothing mentioned at all about him having a bad reaction to the vaccine (So why are you so sure he had to retire due to complications from the vaccine?)

I had to look up that needtoknownews site because I've never heard of it. From what I found it's a alternative news site for those that don't trust regular news media outlets.

Any form of sudden death is problematic, IMO

Either play another quarter, or guarantee equal possessions.

But not in the CFB contrived way. Whoever gets the second has a chance to match or to beat first teams point total from their drive. Game doesn’t end until 1 team has more points than the other after equal drives.
