If they really like a guy I would certainly hope they would go get him. Moving from 11 to 5 or 6 shouldn't be too costly.

dilfer was a good qb but not elite . this fan base would have booed him out of town because he wasnt elite even when he qb'd a superbowl winner because he wasnt sexy enough . hell even the ravens dicked him te next year

shuler was not football smart enough to play qb

i feel either picket or corral will straight up bust and one will be a dilfer

maybe or we can write a contract that serves both sides . it could be guaranteed money that is the hold up or it could simply be he wants to go to a legit organization

Those making the decisions need to be good at their job then. Don't think we reach in the draft. We will draft a rookie however, I believe later than round 1 in this draft and bring in a vet bridge.

I'd be shocked if Coral, Pickett, & Ridder are still there at 11 "if" they do well at the senior bowl and test well at the combine.
I believe we have a shot at Howell in the 2nd, IMO losing his backfield and deep threat was too much to overcome.
He's looked good with talent. "IF" Coral/Pickett is on the board at 11, and we have signed some above average/elite talent...I'm all for either one.
I get wanting a new Face of the Franchise. He'll have TH breathing down his neck, so that's a good push.

My way to soon free agent signings would include -- Marcus Williams FS, Allen Robinson WR, Njoku TE, Mariota QB.
if somehow we could trade down, get an additional 2nd and still draft Coral or Pickett, i'd go LOCO

Pre snap reads and read progressions . I have posted them in the prospects thread . Also with strong you get big time arm with ability to show touch . That’s rare with guys with big arms that are young
