I think it was issues between Flores and the GM. No on field reason to fire him.
Maybe he got fired because he won too many games this year and management told him to lose so they would have a higher draft pick. They started off 1-7 and everything was going to plan, but then he had 2nd thoughts and pulled a Charlie Donovan/Lou Brown from Major League and decided to screw management over, because he wasn't going to lose. Hopefully they didn't have a cardboard cutout of Chris Grier that they were pulling sections off of each time they won though.

so that puts Dan Marino on track to buy the team this offseason and reactivate himself out of retirement to play QB??

I think every team besides Miami will be interviewing Flores. No reason not too. 7 wins in a row to end the season with Tua and Co at QB... wow, just wow.

Edit: Went 1 for 2 in leagues this year. Won 1 championship and messed up not starting Cooks the one week I needed him to miss the playoffs in the other league. >mutters<

Do the Dolphins owe him enough money that he can buy the team without spending any money like Lemieux did with the Penguins?

Was just looking at stats and Derrick Henry still finished the season 9th in rushing yards (937) and tied for 6th in rushing touchdowns (10) in 8 freaking games.
He's a beast. I wonder if that foot will be a problem from now on. Does his draft stock drop a bit? Shaun Alexander was never the same. He was a fantasy stud for 5 seasons. That's a damn good run for a RB.

Seen a couple of vids of him working out this week. Looks pretty damn good, but yeah, does favor the foot a little.

I'll bet he returns at minimum, near to form. maybe not in these playoffs, but going forward into 2022. Maybe not entirely what he was, but close. However, 28, going on 29..I don't care how many hyperbaric chambers he sleeps in, or whatever his rejuvenation routine is, age, and possibly more importantly, the amount of touches he gets, catch up to everyone, so his time at or near the upper echelon of RB's is going to be limited one more year, 2 more maybe?
That's why I got out while the getting was still REALLY good last season everywhere I had him. I applied the hoodie philosophy, better to cut bait one year early than one year too late.

Time to go. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

The Pioneer Press's Chris Tomasson reports it's "uncertain" if Kirk Cousins will be back with the Vikings in 2022.

The Vikings moved on from coach Mike Zimmer and GM Rick Spielman, leaving Cousins's future in question under a new regime. Owed a guaranteed $35 million with a $45 million cap hit, it's possible the next general manager will look to trade Cousins rather than extend him in the final year of his contract. Third-round QB Kellen Mond is coming off a lost rookie year and Minnesota holds the No. 12 pick, putting them in position to draft one of the top quarterbacks even if they let Cousins play out his final year.

You can have him for free. Well, besides that 35 mil. ;)
Haha, well I'm no Cousins fan, let's be clear, but...the offense he runs is much more entertaining than what Vegas fans get to see. I'd forecast the exact same record either way, but tons more fun

What a contrast.
Bills showed they were ready to play against a tough divisional foe in bad temps.
The whole team was clicking on all cylinders.
Then there are the Eagles.
