I want him to stay here at a fair contract but not at the expense of extending other players and not having much for any free agents

We don't win when he's outta the lineup, but he's asking for shutdown corner money.

I really stumped hard for Freiermuth but he got snagged. Bates proved me wrong. Very nice pick up and should be here for a while. Thing is I think he's gonna get a lot better, especially in a Turner system.

Don’t get me wrong. I would love to see a QB come in the draft. Fact is, it is way over hyped and BY FAR a solution. In fact, a 1st round pick might hurt an organization for years. Odds of that happening are way higher than getting your franchise guy.

I will leave 2021 out. To early to tell. Point is you never know what you’ll get . In my opinion 7/18 are QBs we would want. Odds of getting your franchise guy are just under 39%. So I question the “experts” on this being a weak class. They got many wrong in that list above. So maybe our guy might be there. Odds are he is not.

And that's why I'm intrigued by Watson and Carr. At least I know what I'm getting. Just depends on the price. I was all in on Stafford last year. He just wasn't all in on us.

I'd have a problem with Watson unless charges were dropped. Given the issues with this franchise they would be sending the wrong message in regards to a new chapter in the sexual misconduct issues

i dont think the charges will be dropped , he could settle them , but dropped ????.

his mobility helped. holding the ball too long didn't. not sure whether these things canceled each other out, lol
