Huntley is better than LJ IMO. I said it before season even started. I don’t think redskins ought to trade for him though

Whoa nelly! In 2 games last year it was 60% completion percentage. In 7 games this year it is 65% for a total of 9 career NFL games.
Lamar Jackson from 2019 - 2021 is 66%, 64%, 64% pretty darn even with Lamar having far more experience. How does this make Huntley simply a better passer?

I have to respect it, but i disagree. Now Tyler does seem to have more success completing the deep pass, but "better" than a NFL MVP? Not a lot of film on Tyler helps too, but this guy is not a winner. I think Lamar jumps back next year, with an improved WR room, and hopefully a healthy defense, there should be no more excuses for the Ravens not playing for a AFC conference title

Don't get me wrong (as others here typically do) as I respect your opinion, I personally find it difficult to compare them due to the lack of history for Huntley. Would I mind Huntley in DC? No however, I do not see the Ravens letting him go at any cost. He is the perfect BU plan for Lamar and that offense.

This will tell me a lot about him. After basically being handed a "leader" role he is a no show for all the off season stuff and that was followed by playing like crap. He either wants to be part of the team or I am fine with him leaving. I am tired of these guys who are all talk and no action.

that is why i am thinking he will be a bust . he is a "me " player and we had herbert there for the taking

how about a tinge of self awareness RR ? the owners is a dick , the organization has nothing but drama , and a press corp just waiting for the next hit job . you dont listen to the fans at all and no " winning " wont cure it all

Well fans or no fans I'm sure he's feeling the pressure. It's year three and he has yet to even have a .500 season or better. I like Rivera, but if he goes 6-11 next year, he'll be gone.

He knows that. I think that's why he's gonna swing for a trade and if he strikes out, he'll settle for one of the college kids.

Yes that may be true they already offered him to be the highest paid guard and he didn't accept so he has to be asking for a ridiculous amount

Mayhew is clearly frustrated and what I take from his comments is Scherff is pulling a Kirk Cousins. Saying all the right things, aw shucks I just really want to be here.

Then fleecing the Skins until the Skins just can't afford it anymore and then signs a LTD somewhere else.

Maybe I'm way off, but it sounds like if and when Scherff leaves, Mayhew wanted the fans to know they really tried.

It would seem he has skills but he needs to be humble and take coaching. The guys on the Jets are better than Illinois, Nebraska and Penn State.

I want him to stay here at a fair contract but not at the expense of extending other players and not having much for any free agents
