Today's game has evolved since the days of CT and so have the athletes. Scary Terry is capable of so much more and so is our OC.
I am well aware ... you are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine.

1. Weakest arm in the NFL
2. Anticipates getting hit more than anticipating his WR routes
3. Slides too early
4. Generally afraid of contact
5. Low trajectory throws that easily get batted
6. Throws errant passes under pressure
7. Can't read a defense
8. Doesn't call audibles
9. Holds the ball too long
10. Forces a play to be made instead of throwing the ball away
That’s Falco , now tell me it’s the OC

I think for me the only big thing I've been disappointed with is a game plan that hasn't been more tailored to THs biggest strength imo. His mobility. The message early was very definitely...stay in the pocket, slide and protect yourself and be a game manager. While they rolled those messages back... TH was never really used as the dual threat he could have been. Perhaps that goes back to durability or perhaps it was ST being too married to his scheme. Given injuries to playmakers on O we will likely never know

That's my gripe with Turner as well. Last week I saw TH used to freeze the defense, but even then they didn't let him run with it.

RPO with Heinicke would have really opened up things for Gibson and masked a banged up online.

or a read option

they were used but never in a constant way, that TH presented as a dual threat legitimately

execution is most likely the issue
doesn't seem that hard with a mobile QB but maybe TH was limited there too. I know losing Roullier and Larson was a big deal, cuz Roullier called all protections

The issue with falco is forcing the ball and missing reads as well as decision making. I believe Mac Can do it but carter ? Milne ? Simms. ? Brown ?

Then look at AG and fumbling . Putting the ball in his belly the pulling it out while asking him to read the hole might not work

Turner is not the problem. No offense against Heinicke but he is limited. Turner has done a great job with someone no one else wanted.

I think your missing my point. Hieneke is not the only QB working under Turner. His offense, play calling has not evolved even when in Carolina. Not enough motion, not enough mixing up WR sets, not enough miss direction, no creativity, same formations, easy to game plan for. He will certainly not be confused for Norv. Perhaps he needs a great QB to be a great play caller.

I don't know who you are directing your point at but I am not missing my point in what I said.

the dud is averaging a different qb every 4 games and running read options with falco isnt a good thing . he is injury prone

now what i saw clearly this year were a bunch of poorly executed misdirection plays , i saw motion , i saw mixing of wr sets . what i didnt see was very good execution

Logan Paulsen has talked about how much he likes Turner's use of motion all year.

I like Turner and he's gonna be a head coach one day. Can't wait to see what his offense looks like with a QB that can make all the throws and a legit #2 WR (Samuel if healthy/Jamison Williams ALA).

I do think he could have been more creative when it came to TH's running ability.

He may very well be but unless he becomes an HC I don’t see it yet

Who hasn't been gone after three or four years? You were incorrect about his use of motion.

If RR doesn't get a QB in here this team is going nowhere. I like that Heinicke is a gamer. He is not a good QB though, adequate for backup duty but not starter material. He constantly passed up correct reads for harder ones. He has a weak arm .... and we could go on.

For those he keep saying Heinicke should have been used in more RPO .... he did not do that in college either. In four years he ran for a total of 1,320 yards or and average just under 29 yards a game.

I have no clue where the (insert name here) are going to get a QB. I am not sold on any QBs in the draft and I don't think the (insert name here) can attract a top line QB. While we wait for Feb. 2 it is going to be interesting to see what RR and the Marty's decide to do.
