I did not say they did everything perfect, I said that Ben caused it.You're right. The Sixers did everything perfectly. All on Ben lol

How did the Sixers cause this? The roots of all of this lie with Simmons.I disagree
And they are still very trivialBeen over this many times how the 6ers caused this. Still the same reasons.
fuck offI think we can all agree that:
Can I get an Amen?
- Ben Simmons deserves 57% of the blame
- The '6ers deserve 32% of the blame
- Joe Biden deserves 11% of the blame

You mean the stuff that adds up to about 10-15% of all this? The stuff that is all responsive to actions or things Simmons has said?Been over this many times how the 6ers caused this. Still the same reasons.
I’m just waiting on a compelling argument for your point of view and unfortunately we’re over 100 pages into a thread I’ve been participating in from the jump and I’ve yet to see it posted where the Sixers are a “root cause” of all this.Been over this many times how the 6ers caused this. Makes more sense. I see eye to eye with escalating. I think these recent attempts to press the fines is poking the bear needlessly. I also agree with holding an organization to higher standard. I was just pushing back on the idea that the Sixers caused or created all this. Criticism their way is absolutely warranted. Making them share the majority of the blame or highlighting them as the root of the problem is where I squabble.I have laid it out clearly.
I wouldn’t say they are the “cause”. Simmons is the root cause. But their handling and dealing with Simmons has continually escalated the drama at every turn. And the organization has a higher burden of professionalism here. Players act out all the time. The franchise has to play it cool.
Take the Nets handling of Kyrie for example. They clearly aren’t happy. They are docking his pay. But they aren’t fighting with him publicly about the situation. They are giving him space to come back when he is ready.
That could have played out in a much more messy fashion. But the Nets kept it professional. And they were able to maintain their relationship with the player.

No they can’t do that because Simmons isn’t mentally capable of playingPretty close

What if Ben Simmons has already been traded and what’s coming back is a new contract not eligible for deal until Dec 15th or the deal also includes Danny Green going out with Ben, and his contract is also ineligible to deal before that date?
It might explain why it seems like Danny Green is just going through the motions. But also, the theory doesn’t look great when they’re still fining Simmons.
