I'd forgotten about Sammy's. Went there many times when I worked downtown in the 90s. I'll have to make a stop next time I'm there.
The only one still open is the one at the corner of 9th and Liberty. The one near the courthouse and the one on Smithfield are both closed.

I just observed a bus that was labeled the Port Authority Moon Flyer.

Ah, memories. It probably has a stop in Derry Area.

Yep, that's also a real place.
I might have found that looking for a grocery store. The sign outside said "Ross Park Mall" but with the apparent dress code for women being yoga clothes with clearly no undergarments it has to be the derrierea.

Or perhaps Beaver Township.

Not to be confused with WEINER WORLD which is a hot dog place close to the arena with a giant, golden statue of Phil Kessel out front.

I made the statue part up.

Yeah it was really good.

Interestingly, the guy in front of me got what appeared to be a sandwich dumped on his fries. Like the cook was making what looked like an italian beef sammich, but instead of putting it on bread, he put it on a little boat of fries. That's commitment.

That doesn't look like too bad of a drive. And you had me at "Pizza Park".

Thanks!
Famous last words. Pizza's good though.

Could have warned me they don't use boxes, though.

Basket woven from French fries?
Actually, paper, wrapped like a sub and stapled shut. The pizza itself was on a piece of cardboard.

Over the course of the drive back, it became more like a casserole than a pizza.

The Bellisarios drive (and likely the pizza) would've been better. ;)

Don't miss Max's.

Oh speaking about Vincents pizza when you went there back in the 70's/80's./90's. You got the full experience of them making the pie's while smoking their cigars and using the prep area as their ashtray. That was back when health code rules didn't exist for an Italian owned business.

Yep, if you didn’t get ashes in your pizza it wasn’t legit

One final observation: Fuck whoever decided that about 30 yards was enough merge space from a near dead stop onto a highway.

And especially fuck Prius drivers going 0-60 in 18 seconds nearly getting me rear ended by another fucking giant ass jeep.

And what the fuck is with the Jeeps? And who decided that bed liner is a paint color? And are punisher and blue lives matter stickers the second largest industry in town or what?
