YikesLocal radio guys are talking about a lisfranc injury for Etienne
People had better stop sleeping on M. Callaway.
Trudem mostly covered my thought. Without Brees, i am not convinced the offense will operate with the same efficiency.I like him. Don’t like his QB. However he can certainly make a WR fantasy relevant
I saw a timeline from Week 3 to Week 8Plus Michael Thomas is only gonna miss 4 games. (Unless that changed?)
We don't need to sleep on him. You own him almost every league.People had better stop sleeping on M. Callaway.

D2, Bandits, Old School..no need in D1We don't need to sleep on him. You own him almost every league.
I don't think its a question that Winston won't match Brees' efficiency. But hey, Winston, as inefficient as he is, still supported Mike Evans and Chris Godwin just fine. And I have to hope that for a guy who was thrust into a starting role, day 1 and never had a real mentor to show him how to get it done, that a year spent under a guy like Brees who is right up there with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady as to mental preparation and knowing how to be ready, SHOULD have helped this young man be more of a pro. Maybe he's a little better. No way do I expect Brees level efficiency, but I do expect an improvement over what we saw in TB, at least from that standpoint.Trudem mostly covered my thought. Well someone needs to play opposite Thomas, and once he's back, the choice between perennial tease T. Smith and Callaway is an easy one. Plus, whatever the dealio is between the Saints front office and Thomas, who knows what's gonna happen there, it could all be fine and business as usual..could be something else that comes up later on and he's benched, suspended, traded..who knows?Plus Michael Thomas is only gonna miss 4 games. (Unless that changed?)
Just saw that he could be done for the year. James Robinson just flew up the boards.Local radio guys are talking about a lisfranc injury for Etienne
Wow.Just saw that he could be done for the year. James Robinson just flew up the boards.
They put him on IR. That's it for 2021.ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Travis Etienne's "mid-foot" Lisfranc sprain is expected to end his season.
Etienne requires surgery. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Etienne's official timeline is 12 weeks, and that he will "have a chance to come back late in the season if all goes well and it makes sense." We will know it is season-ending if the Jaguars place Etienne on injured reserve before final cuts. If not, he could be activated at any point following the first three games of the season, but that obviously will not be happening.
