Next morning thoughts. I agree in part with Rick Snider. It is hard to pick on the defense but ZERO sacks from the DLine so far. Supposedly Young and Sweat predicted 39 sacks combined this year. Some may be because they are not game planning and I am sure things will get better once the season starts but something to keep an eye on.

1 Defense looked understanding even with Juste and mctrye starting
2. QB Allen looks good probaly have 3 qbs on 53
3. Jarret makes the 53 but dont know if he gets active on game days you how that works

4. Dt Wise could make the team a surprise

5. Offense will play better once Curtis Samuels plays and we start scheming

6. my god no key injuries not even a player on the ground holding a leg saying ouch ouch ouch. If we still had Gruden we would have lost 2 to 3 starters already out for year

Final thoughts. Still a work in progress nothing more nothing less keep chopping wood RR job will be safe till he decides to hang it up .. same with del rio

I wouldnt be suprised next year we role with Heinicke ,Allen ,Rookie .. but i still think this coaching staff dont want to deal with a developing a rookie qb.. i would start Allen vs Ravens and go Allen the whole game next preseason game

Fitz was inconsistent. Missing Thomas and Humphries for Td's. I think that is what we are going to see from him this year. Streaky QB play. His best pass was the deep throw to Brown. Maybe we keep 4 rb's now. I think the 5th Cb should be Mcintyre not D. Johnson. Even after that performance C. Sims is still a lock on this roster. I don't agree but I will accept it. AGG is still a huge bubble player. If Paterson is the kr/PR, AGG should make the roster as the #6 WR. Backup LB's are still questionable. I don't understand why we have no interest in Wright from Seattle. Why wouldnt he want to come here and play for this defense?
