I just wonder how ugly it will get?
With the offense struggling to score TD's, Eckler has to find a way into the endzone. Don't run out of bounds here. But KK called an awful game
Good to see ya DGF here are my thoughts…That was good to see the reason the DTs were so ineffective was all the double teams. Surely they can figure out how to get the other players to take advantage of that right?
I think it's pretty clear that the Bengals will put up points and the Commanders will try to control the clock with the running game. But facing an opponent who is putting up a lot of points may force King to open up the offense and stop with so many passes along the LOS. Let's see what the kid can do.
We have some cap space. Go trade for Reddick while you can. We litterally have no DE's to pressure the QB which imo, is on Quinn/Peters. A bandaid on rushers after trading your top 2 has failed after 2 weeks. Yes, just after 2 weeks. The regime did not improve the WR position for their new rookie QB which is also glaring. Lots of holes to fill and this will take some time.
The fun part, we get to watch Daniels grow on a sub par team at the moment. Just hope he doesn't get hurt.
Good post and good to see you as well. I honestly thought Armstrong could provide edge rush help as well as a blitzing Luvu. And that may still happen. But if 4 men are blocking 2 men our coaches simply have to figure out a way to take advantage of that with the other players.Good to see ya DGF here are my thoughts…
not having edge rushers good enough to take advantage has really been a problem. Really exposes our weakness in the secondary too.
seems Like KK has now sprinkled in the intermediate passes, especially second half of the Gnats game (and we did see the long overthrow pass to Terry week 1)
everything I’ve seen and read is in the hope that when JD5 scrambles or really feels the pressure, he must learn to continually look downfield for passing options, instead of an immediate urge to tuck and run. also to throw the ball away if there is no clear path, 3 yards today isn’t worth an injured QB. He really is exciting to watch but my stomach dropped when he got crunched and went out for a down.
Mike Renner was counting the hits from Week 2 and believe it or not JD5 clocked in 3 more than Caleb, which surprised me After seeing parts of the Chicago game. Think it was 15, and when you multiply 15 big boy hits x 17 games… we end up screwed.
