Considering I've watched Wentz's career in Philly, yes your stats are misleading.

So what is misleading about them? He has played in 80% of the games in his 5 year career. He was benched last year (non injury).

I’m not saying he hasn’t been beat up at times, but he’s also not the 80 year old woman with a broken hip that many make him out to be. He is pretty consistent with many of the best NFL QB’s over the past 2-3 decades in terms of injury time.

Like jimmy g. 200 yards passing and literally 2 passes traveling 3 air yards that were completed beyond the LOS. Smooe n mirrors. But but his record.

So are you complaining about his performance or the games he has missed because he was injured? I would think those are two different things.

Exactly. That's still amazing that that's possible.

You're making an argument about his durability and games played. He played with a broken or fractured back but started so yes the stats will show he played but once again hurt. Like I said durability isn't his strength.

And frequent… common.

Which one wentz or jimmy? Jimmy…hes smoke n mirrors. Hurt or not hurt . His superbowl was the most misleading stat line ever. 49ers said ecerything many of us alreadY believed this off season by not only drafting lance but persuing qbs prior to that. You dont move on from a 26-5 stud muffin on a team friendly deal…

He could be a deadline trade to someone if needed.

I am making an argument about his durability, because many are saying he isn't durable at all, yet ignoring that fact that he has averaged 14 games a season for 5 straight seasons. That's not all that bad....you have to admit.

Every NFL QB plays hurt. Stafford did it most of his career in Detroit. I don't hold that against him. I think that means he is durable, if he can fight through the pain.

I gained a new level of respect for Wentz in this game: Final observations: Lions 27, Eagles 24

He literally did everything he could to win the game, and his receivers just refused to catch balls that hit both of their hands, many times in stride. He was getting hit, and standing in and still making the throw.

Regardless, if you average 14 games a season (a 16 game season at that) for 5 years, I don't see how anyone can criticize you as "injury prone". Just my two cents! I've already been wrong a few times today! :suds:

What's your Steelers going to do this year? I hate the Browns, so I hope you can win your division this year. Big Ben going to put up big numbers?

Man i dunno. I think all steeler fans feel that way. The d is legit. Questions on bens arm and the o line. Optimistically theyre in the hunt. Pessimistic they are cellar dwellars. Reality? I have no idea. Just along for bens last ride or one of his last. For me, he can go out on his terms. Btw i hope you know im merely poking at you mean no harm. Ive read alot of your posts in the PF, much respect.

No problems here. I need to be poked at (that didn't sound good).

I love your division. The Ravens, Browns, and Bengals are all pretty solid teams now (the Bengals are getting better at least). My brother in law is a Browns and Ohio State fan. So I root for them to lose all the time! He HATES the Steelers, so I talk trash to him all the time about the Steelers.

Are division is rough-tough. Always is theres always two extremely strong teams at least. Browns are now a legit superbowl contender imho. I also am much higher on the bengals than everyone else. Lolol poor guy, at least he hs osu kinda… but hell yeah browns still need to do more than win a playoff game.

Every game in that division will be GREAT this year! Hopefully the Browns lose them all. (as a Lions fan, they are the only team with less wins than us since 2000).

Where are you getting this 14 game average? He had 2 full season of 16, 12, 11, 13.
Also his rookie year and final season in Philly was his only non injury season. 3 out of 5 years of injuries isn't durable.
I get you like Wentz and I did too. I thought he had the "it" factor after his rook season but after he got knocked out his second year, he could never recover physically and mentally.

Take his total games, and divide it by 5.

68 divided by 5. 13.6 rounded up to 14. I figured 14 is a good number, seeing he was available at the end of the season but was not played. Not due to injury.
