Team USA is 0-2 so far in exhibitions.
It's very embarrassing. And even more than that, I find it embarrassing when we send KD, Dame, etc and don’t win.
We probably wouldn’t be favorites with a team of no names, but we would still have a good shot if they had established chemistry.
*Errrr, um, various sounds of hesitation*Not yet. They have 3 important pieces coming. Booker and Middleton bring more to the table than Lavine while Holiday will hands down be the best perimeter defender on the club
Cannot say I've watched that much but wonder if they need different "type" of players? Maybe a more pass first PG?And even more than that, I find it embarrassing when we send KD, Dame, etc and don’t win.

I didn't see the game, but from what I've heard about it this morning, you're likely right.
Dan Patrick was talking this morning about how Australia was passing the ball and moving when they were on offense. Then when Team USA had the ball it was a lot of 1 guy dribbling.

Middleton? The guy you have ripped all postseason?
Insults when I point out how you were ripping him? Don't like the truth, huh?Once again i never said he was a bad player. What's your point again? Reading comprehension wasn't your thing in school i see

If he's so inconsistent why is team USA missing his skillset then?Dude you need to quit with this Middleton crap. All I ever said about him is he is too inconsistent in the playoffs which he's proven all playoffs to be a fact. If you would stop quoting me whenever i post about him, that'll be great
I would like to see them have tryouts for team USA and it be a salaried position. And that the players that play for team USA not play in another league.
Get a bunch of fringe NBA type players and assemble a team that fits together and practices together all year. Their season could run from like January/February through whatever international tournament.
They can play exhibitions against NBA teams, overseas against international pro teams, etc.
There might be some transition from year to year, but it won’t matter so much because they will practice and play together.
The problem is that these teams lack continuity and cohesiveness. So take a group of lesser players and build a culture. I think the end result would end up being more consistent than what we see now. And it wouldn’t be a burden on the NBA stars to play internationally.
