Wilson is more on track for a Drew Brees career arc than anything else. Very well regarded QB, but seldom was he even the best of his own era. He'll have sparkling stats though. Many will consider him a top 10 QB of all time if they do Brees, tbh.
Brett Favre is the better comparison over Brees. Will end up with one title, a shit load of games he won that he shouldn’t have and a shit load of games he lost that he shouldn’t have.

I;ll go slow you can do this

Tom Brady went straight to the bench and stayed there until Blesoe got hurt.....ok? Russell Wilson walked right in and took command....ok?

Wilson played in 8 pro bowls his first nine seasons, Brady 4,

Wilson had 6 seasons with a 100 or better passer rating, Brady,...1

Wilson more 30 td seasons, Wilson less 12 or more INT seasons

Wilson can run, I can out run Brady and so c.....well I can out run Brady,

What about that confuses you? Not talking Brady's 40 year career, just those first nine seasons because that is all Wilson has.

Wilson is the only QB in NFL history to pass for 4000 yards, 30 TD passes and rush for over 500 yards in a season he is 15 yards of doing that three times.

Wilson has the most wins in nine seasons

Nobody ever started more games in their first nine seasons.

Nobody played in more pro bowls their first nine seasons.

The guy never sat on a bench one second.

His career passer rating the second best in history (those with at least nine seasons) only Rodgers has a better one.

He is the best passer/rusher, his combined passing/rushing stats number one.

Nobody ever had a better first nine seasons of the career than this guy, simply a fact, Wilson will pass Cunningham this season in rushing yards, putting him at third.

He was the first QB to post 100 passer rating his first two seasons and tied the then rookie TD record (Peyton)

How many years does it take for Carroll to lose his job, if Wilson went elsewhere?

15 - 1 with the #1 scoring offense in the league (and one that finished in the top 25 of all time in scoring)

VS

10-6 with the 4th scoring offense in the league (and that was with the top rated defense in the league).

There was zero question that Newton was the MVP that season. Out of 50 votes, Newton got 48. 1 to Brady, 1 to Carson Palmer.

And that was only reinforced in January of that season when Newton lead the Panthers into halftime in the playoffs against Seattle up 31 to nothing (before Wilson lead a 2nd half meaningless comeback to make the game look much closer than it was).

Inferior comp%, inferior passer rating, Wilson led the NFL with 34td, led the NFL with his 110.1 passer rating.

Compare Palmers numbers to Wilson's, yep....Wilson.

Hmmmm?

I think some may confuse what the MVP actually means. I agree Newton deserved it even though his numbers weren’t as good as Wilson’s. But in this case I believe they got it right based on where the Panthers finished as opposed to the Seahawks.

Guy gets off the plane in Seattle, walks right in and boom....playoff win, SB win, ONE yard from winning another, starts setting NFL records, starts doing things never seen before. Right now he is number 3 in the NFL behind Rodgers and Mahomes. After this season he will be in the top 15 all time stat wise, and he has what 6-8 seasons left?

All time great here, the best passer/rusher we have seen. Why anyone tries to do anything other than.....yep you're right....????
