OT - I'm bored

i'm up in northern (not the UP) Michigan and i've already got a nasty burn. i never learn...it's because in my 'younger' years (because i guess saying that can be misleading) i was ALWAYS the kid that tanned, never burned. well...that changed later in life. especially because i was out on the water, makes it much worse.

I get one nasty burn a year and then I go native (I am a damn Greek) so now I look odd because my arms got burned a few weeks back so I have brown arms and a bright purple chest and stomach...and I am pretty sure it is going to blister.

Odd, I know. I lived closer to Oakton but everyone in my neighborhood was Warhawks as well...so I guess it was a zoning thing.

dang...i've never gotten that bad. though i still have 5 days up here so i better be careful with my already burnt shoulders/back. i don't think i'll ever let it get quite to the 'purple' stage though...ouch. break out that aloe vera! and god speed showering....gosh that'd hurt.

I just got out of a cold shower and lathered up in aloe and lidocaine...sleeping is miserable though. Advil takes the edge off. Fucking Sandcastle.....

Noxzema got me through the time I with blisters. The worst part was that I had buddies being dicks and patting me on my shoulders all the time. And Actually it was when I still played baseball, swinging a bat was near impossible.

The dogs piss me off because they jump up on me when i am on the couch and their paws feel like rusty knives....

I made out with the girl from the Noxema commercials back in the day. She went to USCe when I was there and we met up at a party and messed around for a week or so. I never finished the deal, but it is still kind of cool, ha ha.

To be fair, I only did my junior and senior year at Tech. My freh and soph were at USCe. I also did my MS at VT and my dad and gramps went there too though, so I grew up a Hokie. I just had to spread my wings for a couple years.
