Yeah I just saw the thread over there, and I say the hell with them then.

If you enjoy trolling and trying to piss people off, then I guess that board is the place you want to be. I don't see this board being too strict as far as what people say in regards to opinions and some smack talk. As long as you don't intentionally try to insult someone personally that is not related to hockey, or make every post bitching or complaining about something, then you should be alright.

People with the intentions of trying to be a d-bag simply won't be tolerated, and that was the whole point of coming to this board in the first place. Here we actually have MODS that take action right away, instead of seeing people post that they wish someone would take care of it.

This board will continue to thrive without them, and we will get the chance in a couple of months to really see how nice this board is during the season.

I for one will be relieved when I don't see every other topic being about bandwagon fans, the refs, Crosby vs Ov, and claims that hockey sucks.

I read what postmaster wrote there. You're right, you can't please everyone. It's not like this place is exclusive. Anyone can join, they just need to know bullshit isn't put up with here. If they can't live with that, their loss.

Thank You, It's not often mod's get a little love. We are like ref's, never have home games and people like to boo us.

I really appreciate the work you and the other mods do on here. Trust me I'm a moderator on 2 other boards, so I know how things go. This board is so much better than the ESPN board it's unbelievable and it's because we have moderators here who take the time to do a good job. So thank you!

That's because trolls who are on the boards to post more to get a rise out of people than to talk hockey just don't understand that there are people out there who do just want to talk hockey. It's hilarious the stuff they make up to convince to themselves that the ESPN board is better and this board is run by Hitler just because they can't spam up this board like they want to. It's sad, but you'll never convince them otherwise, so there's really no point in worrying about it. I liked the post where one of the people said that the ESPN board will win out over this one once the season starts. Boy is he in for a rude surprise!
