I’ve heard some interesting stories about Aldon that I won’t share.

Melvin Ingram left KC without a contract. Hope he doesn’t come back. ;)

At this point in the offseason, what positions can we draft a player that can win a starting position on offense or defense?

I think there are 2 potential positions:
  • QB - This is more about if the organization has moved on from Drew Lock. If there are enough people in the organization that believe in him, it is unlikely that he is replaced.
  • ILB - As well as Josey Jewell played last year there is potential that we could draft an ILB that would be able to take his starting job.
I have several positions that I think the Broncos could go:
  • RB - Gordon and Freeman are free agents next year
  • OT - Additional depth and competition, and James is likely not back next year.
  • DLine - Additional rotational lineman.
  • Edge - Von is not getting any younger, and there is always a chance that he will not be able to regain his previous form. Contract desicision with Chubb and Reed looming. Really need 4 guys, and I am not sure we have that 4th guy on the roster at the moment.
  • CB - Bassey may not be ready early in the year, and Callahan and Darby have had injury issues in the past. Also Callahan and Fuller are free agents. Great opportunity to bring in a young guy to learn for a year and potentailly start next year.
  • S - Depth is not good, and Jackson might move on after this season. Another opportunity to bring you a younger guy and let him learn before he hopefully steps in and starts next year.
I think this is a position that we have not seen in a while in Denver. We have struggled to have solid starting lineups at some positions, let alone depth. There are reasons to be optimistic and maybe even excited about what 2021 could be for the Denver Broncos.

What the Dolphins have made out of the Tunsil trade is pretty historic. May go down with the Herschel Walker trade.

Miami will now have two first round picks for 4 years in a row on top of everything else. Two second. Two thirds.
Dolphins owe the Texans a care package and the Niners get their young QB.

If my memory serves me right will be first time since Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb, Akili Smith that top 3 picks will be QB's.

And now the Dolphins move back up #6 with the Eagles trading down.
