Yikes. Cowboys caved.

$126M guaranteed? Prescott has not done well in the playoffs and may not even come back 100% from his injury. He's enjoyed a loaded offensive team for the time he's played but with this massive signing, he's going to kiss a lot of that luxury of surrounding talent goodbye as the Boys are not going to be able to pay free agents. I think Dak is an above average QB, but he's not an elite one.

D- grade. Very close to giving it a flat out F.

I think just signing Dak makes sense as if they traded for the above QBs they’d have to devastate their draft capital and still pay them, as opposed to just paying Dak
Indeed, I just hope he doesn't pull an RG3 off that injury.

LOL....Fuck....I like it

"Prescott's salary-cap number for this season will be $22.2 million instead of the $37.7 million that would have come along with the franchise tag, a savings of $15.5 million against this season's cap,"

"The road to the deal was complicated by the extensions signed by fellow 2016 draftees Jared Goff and Carson Wentz in 2019, the final year of a collective bargaining agreement, and the unwillingness for either side to bend in what they wanted in terms of the length of the contract. The Cowboys wanted a commitment of five years or more; Prescott's side wanted a four-year deal"
Logical that Ram & Eagle fans talk shit...Ram fans seem so sure about Stafford and Eagle fans hook their boat to Hurts. LOL at all that

"In five seasons, Prescott has a team-record seven 400-yard passing games and 24 rushing touchdowns, the most by a Cowboys quarterback. He is second to Tony Romo in 300-yard passing games with 15. Prescott also has proved to be clutch with 15 game-winning drives."

woulda, coulda, shoulda was always in play since Jerry screwed this up 2 years ago...Haters will hate and the haters woulda had a better field day if Dallas didn't sign Dak.... but I'm thankful for this...Dak is a stud leader, better person and is second to NONE on working his ass off

Maybe Dak will cool doing all those commercials now. really makes these guys look greedy. Just how much $$$$ do they really need?

Dak is a good QB but not on the level of Wilson. Watson, Mahomes and Rodgers. Obviously Brady is THE GOAT but he is about gone.

LOL.....25 years of nothing and yet the Cowboys remain the NFL story line.
Buy a fucking clue

I think as long as they don’t run him into the ground he should be good

Him being able to run, especially inside the 10 seems to be a big part of his game. Seems like that aspect will be dialed down some, so hopefully he can see the same success without it. He'll still have a great offense behind him but they'll need to get some good protection for him in the draft.

And no cash to put anybody of quality around him.

But he gots his money.

Not sure who they are losing this year but there was a great cadre of receivers on Dallas last year. And Elliott.

Dak went down and it was up to Dalton. Who proceeded to get bombed by cheap ass Bostic. A doomed season.

A healthy Dak will have more than enough on offence.

The defence however seemed to have the right guys up front last year but the once ballyhooed linebacker tandem kind of lost itself. Which hurt everything else.

Can Dak outscore enough teams? I think so. What he was doing was working prior to his injury.

Let me learn you since you continue to post on this sport.

Look at the injury....All Dak needs to learn is when to fight another day. He tried to stiff arm a guy his size when there was nothing else to gain

SHIT MAN...I like you but what part of "Prescott's salary-cap number for this season will be $22.2 million instead of the $37.7 million that would have come along with the franchise tag, a savings of $15.5 million against this season's cap," DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!

He is worth that much but it'll be interesting to see if the Cowboys can take advantage of that 4 year window

TRUE THAT....Jerry is still in the building
BUT
they have cash for the blood bath next week, a pretty good offense, and a very good draft position for a team that has drafted pretty well lately
