No current player in the NFL with a 84m contract is a situational player. LC also is not growing a couple inches or putting on 30 lbs. Can we trade him? Or, do we cut him and play Curl?

Sadly we can't reasonably cut or trade him. But Collins could put on 10lbs and surprise.

I would be estatic if he could pull off the position change still would make him highest paid "wanna be LB in the NFL".

You guys don't foresee Landon being a S in name only and being moved to LB?
I'll wait for gekekoa, only he can provide the real answer to my question.
also not disagreeing with you all
LC is coming off a achilles injury , and has stated he doesnt want to play LB . i have no idea what sped and agility LC has after this injury

we need 2 lbs who can play sideline to sideline like the bucs do especially at MLB

"We can't reasonably cut or trade him"
Next year makes more sense, and it also depends how he plays and if he's willing to restructure. He was doing ok before injury

I would have to disagree. He freelances too much and his coverage was at best average. He will make some plays but he will run himself out of plays too often.

Saw DJ mock draft and completely agree that if Darrisaw is there at 19 you pounce.

Add to that you have the opportunity to resign Sherff, likely have Charles as your LG. Best thing that could happen to this offense.
Darrisaw, Charles, Rollier, Sherff, Moses.

Actually #71 Schwitz played well last year. b/c of this you could see Scherff not back here this year. Plus there was nothing wrong with Lucas at LT last year. The oline is not as bad as people think. WR and Lb are more pressing areas. As for the draft we should be looking at WR toney from Fla or the Norte Dame LB at #19.

Certainly would not mind the ND LB however, I think he is gone by 19. Lucas and Schweitzer were stop gaps. Looking for a 10 yr presence at LT and Charles will be ready this year. That would be one hell of a line. WR's are a plenty Rd 2 and on. You may see a LB in rd 3 (see gk draft) and likely a FA addition of two at LB. I saw a chance to fortify our OL for years and that's how I would go. Our offense does need weapons but we also need to protect our QB and run the ball at will.

I like the OT from VT but i can also see the Skins passing on Scherff. They can draft the OT from VT and put Charles and Schweitz at the Og's. Plus you still have Lucas as a swing tackle. IMO too much money to tie up at RG.

This may ruffle feathers but I'm not sold on WR Toney being a #1, id prefer Bateman or Waddle hopefully dropping

Your right however, Charles was rated as round 1 talent that fell due to his off field indiscretions. He also played against top tier talent. Will be a pivotal off season for him for sure but my intuition says he will be ready.

My late hope is Trey Sermon.

yep lots of solid prospects later on. Curious how FA goes, we actually have a lot of options at 19 & 51
real good first mock, i'll attempt to rival that later on
