Not every team can have a stud line, a good rb, two-3 good wr's and a stud TE...........heck the chiefs dont.........they have a stud te, stud wr......good line.......meh beyond that.......even their rb's despite investing a first in CHE have largely been system backs.........
Also, besides moss's year in NE, and hill last year, those guys arent winning alot ........
Theres also what a few TE's capable of that in every era...........
you use brady to gronk, wheres his stud rb? or wr....etc....everyone of those situations are void elsewhere.
i mean yeah, if you wanna cherry pick over 4 decades, and different eras, systems etc, sure.......but i mean, you included edelman.....What does any of that have to do with the fact Wilson has spent 8 seasons without a stud TE or all pro receivers?
Marino had Duper/Clayton and Tony Nathan a pass catching RB.
Unitas threw to three Hall of Famers to be.
Montana had Rice and Taylor
Brady had Welker, Edelman, Moss, Gronk.
Peyton had Harrison
Aikman had Irving
Bradshaw had two future HOFers in Stallworth and Swann
The Snake had Branch/Biletnikoff/Casper
Fouts had Winslow/JoIner/Jefferson/Chandler
And it goes on an own....
Van Brocklin had future Hall of Famers Tom Fears and Crazy Leg Hirsh, Otto had Levelli and Speedie.
Russell Wilson had Doug Baldwin, but things are looking better right now....FINALLY!!!!

I mean alot of great qb's had guys putting up numbers...because they 're great qb's
Wel if youre going to use draft position as an argument, toss out Ab in the prior posts,.Wilson's best receiver most of his career wasn't even drafted. Not ever having a legit stud at TE is a big deal, imagine Mahomes without Kelce.
Imagine Russell Wilson throwing to a legit speed cat like Tyreek Hill, Cliff Branch, Bob Hayes, Randy Moss. That has never happened, DK/Lockett have good speed not warp speed.

russ is a stud, not disputing that.
rodgers best wr has been a 2nd round fella.
Yeah Welker was just a ST's guy cut from Miami, SD then back to Miami and Edelman was a QB in college, switched to ST's in NE and then as a WR. That 5'9 white mold slot receiver in NE. Brady's #1 receiver his first 5 years or so was Deion Branchi mean yeah, if you wanna cherry pick over 4 decades, and different eras, systems etc, sure.......but i mean, you included edelman.....

I love Wilson as already stated on this thread and never said he had great weapons and he might have been the single most important player to his team, but to list Welker , Edelman, and a rentable Moss was funny. Welker and Edelam would have been #3 or #4 on most teams and they were the no#1 receiver in NEWes Welker had over 180 receptions his final two seasons at TT, he had over 2100 yards. Keep in mind....two seasons.
In his 4 seasons at Stanford Doug Baldwin had 96 receptions for 1300 yards.

What round was Welker with his college stud career drafted? Moss is just behind Rice, but glad you realized it was for a short term, most people remember him as a VikingFunny is trying to sell that Welker was just a ST guy at Miami, that simply isn't true. He averaged over 40 catchs a season in his short stay there. And was a total stud in the NCAA.
Randy Moss was amazng as a Pat. 47 TD's in just three seasons.
Obviously talking about where Edelman ended up.
Yet you dust off doug baldwin.... come on dudeFunny is trying to sell that Welker was just a ST guy at Miami, that simply isn't true. He averaged over 40 catchs a season in his short stay there. And was a total stud in the NCAA.

I think anyone who watched college football then, followed him and personally I watched a lot of college football back then and knew all the studs, until about 10 years ago, not so much for some reason. Got to see Pennington and Leftwich and more Mac football than usualWelker's junior/senior seasons had him catching tons of passes for tons of yards, why he wasn't drafted is a...??? Baldwin did nothing to get drafted for, he averaged less than 25 catchs a season at Stanford.
Was following Moss while he was at Marshall.
