that was a pretty good list, but this one in particular drives me nuts. and not just when the cop is on the other side of the highway. even when they are on the same side it pisses me off when some dumbass feels the need to slam on the brakes because a cop is giving someone else a ticket. it's like, hey fucknuts, what do think the cop is going to do? say "fuck writing a ticket for this guy. I'm going to stop and go write a ticket to THAT guy."

and as far as the left lane campers go, at least here in CA, it seems like almost every time I can finally get around the asshole, it's some douche on his/her phone. That one in particular sends me straight to max red zone. When I see it, I will get over right in front of them and slam on my brakes. Dangerous (and childish)? yes. but I don't give a fuck if they die in a wreck. THEY DESERVE IT!
See my I-85 north above but then I-85 south heading to Atlanta has 5-6 lanes on one side with a far left HOV lane. Literally the left two lanes (not counting the HOV lane) are always jammed with cars and tractor trailers. They only time they exit is when some idiot has to exit then they either jet over to the right lane or they gradually get over to the right lane and then drive 45 for the next two miles until they get off the exit.

During non rush hour times I can travel in the two right lanes w/o much issue until some said idiot decides to exit the highway.

Yes I drive I-85 in Atlanta way too often (3-5 times a month) for someone who doesn't live there and even then that is WAY too much.

Things that drive me crazy???

Other drivers.

F*cking young women who have their mother's handicap placard because mom got two when she applied and gave one to to Miss Pissy Pants.

Veterans who think that a veteran's plate entitles them to use a handicap parking spot. I am a combat disabled vet and it pisses me off more when it's a 25 year old guy who gets out and runs into the store.

Getting a f*cked up Drive Thru order at McDonalds.
The handicapped placards need to be done away with. I see more able bodied POS using them than actual handicapped people. If I see your fat lazy ass get out of the vehicle in a handicapped spot and you practically run into the store, you need to have your tires slashed and the car keyed. Only vehicles with handicapped license plates should be allowed in those spots.

Seriously when my son was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes they gave us a form to apply for a handicapped placard. I literally threw it away.
Really he isn't physically disabled, and we don't need that. I think that is the issue is they give them out like candy for any little situation. They you have those idiots that take advantage of the situation.

Similar situation happened years prior when my dads (RIP) emphysema got so bad he had to be put on oxygen all the time. They gave him the handicap placards for the vehicle. He got pissed off when my mom tried to park in the handicap parking spots even though he literally needed it because he couldn't walk far without a breathing issue.
Then when my dad died instead of keeping those placards my mom threw them away.
That is another issue is people take advantage of the fact, someone in their family, received the placard and then used it for themselves when the other family member is not there or passed away.

I get it. Your dad needed to park in the handicapped space. That’s what is even more infuriating that able bodied POS take up those spaces and when someone that actually needs it has to park further away.

That is daily driving in around Atlanta.
The bolded three if you ever get the opportunity to drive I-85 north after you leave Gwinnett county (after the Mall of GA) it becomes a two lane (each side) highway all the way until Greenville SC. And then the other side Spartanburg SC all the way to Charlotte NC.
Getting stuck behind Tractor Trailors going the same speed in both lanes is a daily occurrence. Surprised there isn't more "accidental" shootings along this stretch of road.

I bolded the last because the same highway is 70-75 through GA and when you get to SC it drops to 65 and then 55 in between the cities. And yes SC State Troopers are like PA state Troopers, they have plenty of speed traps.
That stretch isn't generally too bad if you avoid peak times, despite having only two lanes. It's relatively flat, so passing isn't a major issue and there's plenty of fireworks stores to visit if you're bored.

Here's a fucking nuts that turned into a freaking cool...

I'm in the right lane of a 4-lane (2 each way with a center turn lane) busy road going 50mph in a 40. A speeder comes up behind me and cuts over to the left lane to pass me. I put my finger up to my driver window as he goes by, notices it and then slows to get beside me to apparently engage me. Without making eye contact I just shake my head at him.

The light ahead turns red and there are cars in the left lane waiting while I'm the first car in the right lane at the intersection, so he has to get behind me again. I then turn right on red as he is forced to wait at the light to go straight. Buh-bye.

People that think it’s okay to make a right turn across the front of you (without a turn signal mind you) just because you’re on a road bike.

just got out of the hospital after 4 days. Ran into a car that did this as I was attempting to go straight thru the intersection. I was on my TT bike in the aero bars when the car turned into me. I was doing around 25+ mph. Never had a chance to avoid it. Hit the car, bounced off the road.

I have a fractured sternum, fractured clavicle and 3 different fractures in my pelvis and hip.

Oh man, that's brutal - Did anybody get a license plate number?

She stopped. Was cited by the responding officers.

FWIW, I truly believe she was remorseful. Kept apologizing over and over, holding my hand while I lay there waiting on the ambulance.

Thanks guys. There’s definitely pain, but I’m dealing.

somewhat funny part, I hit the car, ricocheted off in way that I landed on my back, then rolled over onto my stomach and was just like “oww.” A lady immediately pulled up and asked if I wanted her to call 911. My initial thought was “hell no. I play hockey. I don’t need no 911.” But after a moment’s reflection I was just like “uhh, yes please.” :D
