Does seem like an overreaction...almost like saying "no way MLB finishes".

All seriousness, does seem odd NBA having so many issues considering how small their rosters are compared to other sports. and while there is contact, it's not like there is as much as football. though being indoors probably doesn't help. Possible NBA players cannot help themselves from going out and being in crowds? Not saying that's true, just wondering.

I'm sure there's some bit of players going out. My guess though would be them picking it up from family members/friends. There's only so much social distancing they can do from family and friends and they can't really control the exposure of those folks.

Can't say I feel any sympathy for KD.

He chose to leave a dynasty.

It's not like there wasn't a lot of evidence about Kyrie before KD joined him.

KD: I'm not happy with my touches so I'm leaving the Warriors. I'm going to form my own super team in NY with Kyrie.

You know more about Steph and Klay than I do...but I have a feeling they'd have been as accommodating as made sense from a basketball standpoint if he wanted more touches.

I think it is all about playing indoors and the ease of transmission.

But perhaps they do need to adjust practice rules and such to make it less likely that the virus spreads from teammate to teammate.

Steph 100%.

Klay....nah. That guy is in his own world. He gets the ball and it's going up. He doesn't even pass to Steph, LOL.

In 2017 the first year Durant was on the team, KD actually told Steph to stop deferring to him. He told him to go be Steph and he'd figure it out. I think what happened was after they won first the championship, he thought people would give him more credit than he thought he received. When that didn't happen, IMO, he wanted a larger role to PROVE he was the guy on the team. He was the reason they're going to win these championships. He's the best player in the NBA.

Durant continually took veiled shots at Kerr and no one really connected the pieces until after it was made clear he would explore his options of leaving. Durant wanted Kerr to change the offense to suit his strengths and not Steph's. Because the system in GS has always revolved around Steph being the focal point. Everything they do is because of either Steph's related action.

So I think he was gone because he just wanted to part ways.

The virus lives in exhaled air. Exhaled air is warm. Warm air rises. Basketball players are tall.

You think Klay will ever be Klay again?

Healthy that is?
