I live in flyover country and give no fucks about any sports reporter on either coasts. I have heard of his name that is it I have no interest in knowing anything about him. It will not benefit me in anyway to know anything about him. He seems to be a fucking cry baby tho

well if anyone knows anything about being a crybaby it would be you

As I watched the game I couldn't help but wonder why they gave up on Wentz so easily. Hurts became their messiah after 1 good game and 3 games later?, he hasn't done anything special enough ( like a division title ). The reason?, well, bad O line, receivers that are mediocre at best, and a poor running game all combined by bad play calling. A team that competes in a piss poor division and surrenders 10 losses has no right to think they have the tools, skills or even talent to be in the playoffs or a championship. Peterson has run his course. the o line is a priority and skilled players are essential ( Ertz is done ) The lack of any of these improvements will not make Hurts any better than Wentz.
The Eagles give a lacklustre performance every week, why think they'll have something special waiting for Washington? The Sudfeld move made no difference for the Eagles ( maybe it did for other teams but that's not Philly's concern ) Philly needs so much just to hit 9 wins next year and a look at their schedule means to start thinking seriously about drafts for the next 2 or 3 years. I think Wentz would do better elsewhere. I can't see Hurts bringing a better trade

are you saying he’s not an eagles fan?

As someone who has listened to him on local sports radio appearances for decades he is not an Eagles fan. He has a known schtick of trying to pretend he is some south Philly Italian but its all fraud. He is a born and raised New Yorker and now lives in Jersey.

Are MSM media reporters who report on Donald Trump and then write books about Donald Trump fans of Donald Trump because they cover him for their professions?

Don't worry, guys. I just talked to coach.

The original plan was to only play Hurts for the first half and let Sudfeld take over after halftime.
But, when they saw what was happening, they kept Hurts in to try and win the game.
It was obvious that Washington adjusted and Hurts struggled to a 7-20, 87 yard performance, so it only made sense to change it up and put Sudfeld in to get the win. That obviously didn't happen, but everything was perfectly justified. They were trying to win the game. I mean, that offsides on 4th and short was just being overanxious in an attempt to get the ball back.

If the Giants want to cry some more about it, try to win more games.
For the folks wanting the Eagles be investigated, there is absolutely nothing to see here.

First team in NFL history to completely embarrass themselves, their city, their entire organization, current and former players

All to, and this is the best part

move from the 9th pick to the 6th pick

Defending it is total dumbassery

don’t be a dumbass

THis thread is bull shit who cares.

The Cleveland Browns know that no win is guaranteed

"You play who's out there," Rivera said Monday, via ESPN. "I'm not apologizing for winning."

The NFL is a league in which absolutely zero wins are guaranteed -- just ask the Cleveland Browns, who lost to the woeful Jets in a key situation in Week 16 and needed a Week 17 win to get into the playoffs. They did so against a Steelers team that rested key starters, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Defensive Player of the Year candidate T.J. Watt.

Actually, speaking of the Browns...

"Nobody complained when Pittsburgh did what they did against Cleveland," Rivera said. "It's been a hard road for us and nobody seems to care about that. Nobody cared two weeks ago when we didn't have some of our best players. Nobody cared last week when we didn't have them, so why should we be concerned if a coach decides to do something that's best for his team?"

Amazing Ron Rivera doesn’t recognize the difference between Pittsburgh resting players to best prepare themselves for a Super Bowl run, and a 4 win team doing everything humanly possibly to lose a game in front of a national audience

amazing

So what are the odds that ESPN reporter Paolantonio is a Giants fan?? :pound: :pound:

On Monday, Paolantonio made an appearance on "The Dan Patrick Show" and talked about the decision Philadelphia made during the game.

"If I’m the NFL, if I’m Roger Goodell, I’m putting on my Kenesaw Mountain Landis pants on right now and I’m doing a forensic investigation of what went down," Paoloantonio said.

And after Patrick responded with, "You’re being serious?"

"Totally. Two-thousand percent," Paolantonio said. "If you’re saying to me that you’re playing to win the game, well then, who’s buying that?... I think it’s worth the time of the league to find out what happened."

Probably the most famous Philadelphia Eagles sports reporter in history

Curious, what impression does Sal Pal give you he's not an Eagles fan?

Last night the Eagles showed the rest of the league just how unprofessional an organization they are. With playoff implications on the line they literally threw in the towel and played only 3/4ths of a game despite the game having very serious implications.

This is PROFESSIONAL football. Teams and players are expected to conduct themselves professionally. Yesterday, you had teams literally playing for nothing in the Pats/Jets game but both teams left their starters in the entire game and competed. They gave fans what they paid for. The jaguars played hard the entire game even though it was meaningless to them because they recognize that they are professionals. The Eagles on the other hand made a mockery of themselves and the league by simply giving up and not playing hard for the entire game.

They are by far the biggest joke in the NFL today. The league should dock them a draft pick and give them a fine for what they displayed in a very meaningful game played on national television.
The players were trying. But Pederson coached with an egregious lack of respect for the game that I haven't seen since Nickerson called a hand off to Salvucci in the end zone instead of just taking the safety for the win in the Walnut Heights game.

so are you saying he’s not an eagles fan? It’s a pretty simply question.
