Watch the Browns take a wr.

LOL.

Sounds like they could use another good DB too.

You never know though. Needs obviously are important to address in the draft, but you never know who the best value might be when your team is OTC. Sometimes a secondary need is the right pick.

Chiefs are vulnerable this year. Lots of teams in the AFC that pose matchup problems.

Watch out for the Ravens, they look like they are back on track. That matchup with the Titans might be the best game of next weekend.

The only reason I wouldn't want the Browns to take a D-lineman is that would make wiggy right. And he probably wouldn't shut the fuck up about for months.

If Pittsburgh was playing all their starters then it would.

They aren’t.
Are you saying missing starters because they are hurt or out from Covid means more than missing starters by choice?

No doubt should have won but Browns were down all projected starting LBs, CBs and safeties. Glad rudolph just didn't throw deep on nearly every pass.

I knew your comment was sarcastic.

Thing is, some of your Cleveland cronies are going to be all about those excuses if they do end up losing.
wouldn't have used it as an excuse had they lost but thought was absurd to ignore the Browns were missing as many or more starters (just not by choice).

I am really disappointed with the local games on here for me.

I have:

Giants/Cowboys: like I care who gets into the playoffs if WFT loses
Bengals/Ravens: likely to be a blowout

Was hoping to watch Steelers/Browns
aren't you close to the Bmore market? Or are you nowhere near DC? If so, then agree makes no sense.

I have Bears/Packers and Cardinals/Rams later.

The rare 4 game slate!

At least the 4PM games are a but more interesting.
we got Indy/Jax. Prefer Rams/Cards, too, but get why they did it in case we lost and cared about Indy.

I live 3 hours from Baltimore.

I get that they are the 2nd closest team for me, but why does CBS continue to televise this game at 38-3 when other important games are closer?
Hmmm...does seem strange. Thought only required to stay with the home team game through entire game.

You just love using that word “absurd” don’t you?

Is it your favorite?

Nope, almost cried when I saw Baker running for that 3rd though to seal it lol
don't usually complain about playcalling - especially Stefanski - but there were some that left me scratching my head. And, yeah, held my breath on the clinching run.

It feels good. If it's true history repeats itself the last time the Browns got to the playoff Ohio State won the national title.
Yep...OSU went first and won. Browns were the buzzkill. Obviously would love 2 wins but don't think I'd be that upset if Browns won and OSU lost. no doubt a little though.

what a weekend we had and have coming!!

The Browns have no defensive backs. Its bad.

If Ward and Johnson cant play next week I am feeling it is going to be very very tough.

Browns and Buckeyes wins against hated rivals Pittsburgh and Clemson though. Good football week.

lets hope next week is just as good! (miiiiiiight be a little tougher lol)
sounds like depends when they play. Sunday we could have them saturday we wont. some will say NFL screwed us if Sat., but think network decides.

Crazy they got 11 wins with how injured their secondary has been the entire year but that’s the NFL. Gonna need Ward to compete with PIT though, plain and simple, the Steelers can rest starters and have a TON of depth. Their starting WR’s vs backup DB’s was a huge mismatch, Rudolph could just throw jump balls but with Big Ben in there, like I said, going to be very very difficult
Held my breath on every deep ball he threw...glad he didn't throw more.

Browns still have a lot of work to do on the defensive side. Another draft, another year of free agency and they can build some depth.

All though--- Vernon, Richardson and Ogunjobi are all UFA's on the defensive line. It will be interesting to see who they decide to retain out of those guys. Id say Richardson is the most important.

I will almost guarantee you their first pick is a defensive lineman in the draft.
Guessing if any highpriced FAs where they went O last year this year will be defense....and will be like last year in they will be guys coming off rookie deals. Not sure top pick is lineman but pretty sure will be defense.

with cap going down wont be more than a few teams who could pay an elite FA (without releasing a high priced guy).
