Attitude wasn't the reason he was released. He was released because he sucks. If he didn't suck, they'd put up with his attitude.
Or maybe If he only sucked he'd have gotten a little more time. at least to end of season.

What a waste of talent that guy is. Thought he'd be good. Watched a few of his games at UCLA and that dude was making Sunday throws on Saturday.
he is softer than Charmin Extra Thick.

just like 99% of Pac 10 players

;)

attitude was definitely part of it.

but you are right in that- teams look past attitude a lot if a guy is super talented

but attitude is a component. If he had a great attitude and was a team guy hed still be there.

No doubt it's a component. If he just sucked, like dt said, they'd at least keep him for the rest of the season. Maybe longer if they think he can develop into at least a serviceable backup.

only reason you got any heat or pushback from me is making this out to be some crazy predicition by your guru......you will be right nearly every time if you say a guy who is the 3rd QB selected in the draft and in the midteens or later will be a bust. And looks like attitude was the reason he was let go so early which your guru did not factor in.

Dude. He is an epic bust.

I was right.

Get over it.

The Bills are legit. Think them and the Colts are the only 2 in the afc who can beat the chiefs

I'm curious to see if the Bills try to win (i assume they will) against the Fins.

Id have to think they'd also be motivated to keep themselves lined up with a game against Cleveland or Miami as opposed to Baltimore if the standings somewhat held. Obviously if they beat Miami they face the Colts though so maybe thats less attractive.

Just going to leave this here

I would hope so he has started one full season now...I bet when Peyton started his career this list would be longer lol...I would not take Josh Allen over him, nothing has impressed me about Josh Allen

Josh Allen is better.....doing it with less talent as well

So he is a little better in 5 games this season? lol we saw what he did last year. Baker needs to improve no doubt. Last night he wasn't the best but if you look at the stat line it won't tell you the whole story. OL looks like the worst in the league, 5 drops - 1 for an easy wide open TD. The fact is he isn't getting much help....he can have all the talent in the world but if you don't have an OL and you aren't a scrambler it's hard to win games. Baker just needs to get better under pressure...he has a lot of things to work but through one season he is STILL better than Allen...that is laughable.

Still laughable? Asking for a friend

I disagree.

The way the Chiefs have been playing lately, anyone can beat them.

But stylistically it is the teams that can run the ball extremely well and pressure the QB that pose the greatest threat.

That is still Baltimore, IMO. Especially with Lamar Jackson starting to play more like last year’s version.

Buffalo is damn good, but they look more like mini KC. Hard to beat the Chiefs at their own game.

and while that may be true, at least we'll have the extra week off to get our shit together...
It's always tricky to gauge what a team's going to look like in the playoffs. I tend to like a loss or two heading in as you want to identify weak points that you need to work on before getting into the playoffs. Coasting into the playoffs and stream rolling opponents can lead to a false sense of confidence where a team has a list of holes in your scheme. But, you've had this core for a few years together that have made a couple of deep playoff runs with a SB win.

In a tweet, Haskins wrote: "I take full responsibility for not meeting the standards of a NFL QB & will become a better man & player because of this experience."

If he gets another chance he better change his ways and be thankful for another opportunity. Haskins fucked up. But I can kinda see why he didn't care. Rivera wanted nothing to do with from the moment he took the job. Putting him on the inactive list at one point. Even if he hadn't gone out partying with stippers his time in D.C. was already over.

I agree but that should have made him even more motivated, if not to show him he can play but other teams that could be interested in the future. I guess he has no pride or competitiveness, is what I get from it. Just as an example, Baker would have taken that like a major insult and worked his ass off to get that job...sometimes you have to earn respect even if it isn’t fair or you aren’f given a fair chance. To me Haskins just gave up, not the qualities you want in a future QB imo

Very well put. I heard something last week that even Urban questioned his maturity before the draft. Is that true? If so that should have been a red flag for any team.

But if he doesn't get another chance he has nobody to blame but himself. I can't remember the last time a player was stripped of his captaincy like Haskins was.

Just once I wish Ohio State could put a productive QB into the NFL. Maybe someday.

I’m not sure what Urban thought specifically but I thought he said he should have stayed in college one more year
