Haskins did make bad decisions. But he also showed that he learned from them. As Chiller said, we are a year away. Which is why DH needs to play next week. We really need to know, going into this offseason, if we need to find a starting QB for next year. It would be so helpful to this team if DH can develop into that starter. Lets see how he does as we make this playoff run. What a great learning experience.

Haskins should play more bc the WTF’s arent going anywhere in the playoffs even if they make the playoffs.

Meanwhile Alex Smith is what he is - a game manager who has a year left in his career at best.

i dont know what they do next week . short term you look at CDC , long term you find out about DHC . i would play DHC in a big game . its the best test for him

i’m psyched that the defense has enough horses to not blow the game when the offense brings the game to within one score.

that’s a huge change from previous years. The offense gets the game to within a score, and the defense lets the opponent run down the clock and win the game.

the 3-and-out at the end of the game was a sign of growth as well.

I dont know about that. Smith is the better QB right now and we are in the playoff hunt. If Smith was healthy he would of started today. If Smith played today we probably would of won today. Cant bench the better QB b/c you are thinking about next year going for a playoff birth. We can win a playoff game with Smith and its very possible that Smith is the 2021 starter.

If we lose to the Panthers and the giants beat the Ravens we are out. We lose the tie breaker. I would play Smith next week if healthy. If we clinch the division at the end of Week 16 then start DH in Week 17.
