OK I think CPOY means comeback player of the year, but what does LFG mean? Oh, and ol' Rant seems a little perturbed w/ Alex. For all his faults, shortcomings or whatever word you want to assign to Alex Smith's skills/play or lack thereof. When he starts a game for the Washington Football Team. They have won 66% of the time. I can't explain it, if I could I'd bottle it up and sell it. And these things most definitely are facts.

I for one have seen a tremendous amount of growth in 1 off season/13 games than I was expecting. Feel like the front 4 is finally living up to the draft status and because of who is up there, they collectively make the back end that much better. The offense needs work but Gibson was a find and we just need additional talent on that side but growth with the young guys is what matters. I like what I'm seeing from RR and I'm not sure I or any of you could say that 6 weeks ago when his nickname went from RB to waffling Ron. Goes back to what dad often says, patience my son, patience.

I'm not gonna front. I was not a fan of RR's 6 weeks ago. Can't say I'm a big fan now, but far as this year goes. I'll give him props for improvements that are starting to take shape/have taken shape. Hell, I'm also ready to give him a mulligan for tomorrow's game unless we just totally stink up the joint and if by some chance we win. Lets just say that would impress me.

Here's the thing though. Can RR and company build upon whatever success that they achieve this year? We've seen this movie before or something close to it. The Skins suck swollen blue whale nuts most of the season. They than find their mojo and make a run leading to a playoff berth. 2015 with KC at the helm, 2012 with Griffin QBing, 2007 with Todd Collins taking over and 2005 with Marky Mark Brunell. We could even go as far back as 99 when a Brad Johnson/Stephen Davis offense led the Skins to an NFC East title. What happened the following year though to each and every one of these teams? They went backwards, not forward. Some teams not as far back as others, but backwards nonetheless.

So with the exception of this team somehow getting to the Super Bowl or making a deep run into the playoffs (if they make the playoffs) I want to see the 2021 Skins do better than the 2020 Skins. If they go 9-7 or 8-8 this year. Go 10-6 or 11-5 in 2021. Moreso than simply making the playoffs this year. I want to start to see year to year improvement. As this making a playoff run and getting ass paddled out of the playoffs in the first round, then being a shitty team for a few years, rinse n repeat isn't crackin anymore.

lucas and schwietzer have turned around the o/line with way better play then we thought
It's hard to tell how accurate these scores are at times, but if this is accurate. That's very solid indeed. I'd even go as far as bordering on very good.
