Moore had an foot or ankle injury last week. Did you notice he was pulled as the return man after the very, very slow punt return?

More depth just in case. I doubt Gordon would take over Moore's role right away at least.

No, didn't notice that.

They don't have enough weapons.

Every reason to fuck with it.

Yeah, when all of our RB's were on IR there weren't enough weapons with "who the fuck is that guy" in the backfield. Carson's back and hopefully he's back to stay.

Bout time he's back. He made critical plays last year moving the chains. Glad he's back on the roster.

Don't forget that Seattle also lost Greg Olsen two weeks again and he's done for the year. Josh Gordon won't take the place of a TE but he does put another very good set of hands out there that we are currently missing with Olsen being gone. Olsen was only seeing about 3 to 4 targets per game. If Gordon only replaces those targets and gets 2 or 3 first downs per game then he'll be a great add to this offense.

If it were AB coming back then I'd say, "why do it" but Gordon isn't a team killer like AB is

This.

The defense has to respect his speed.......gives them an AB type decoy at worst. At best, they can spread out and go with 3 WR's and really be chaotic with the defense.
Yes and AB has really helped the Bucs.

Can Gordon play defense? That's the Seahawks biggest challenge going into the playoffs.

As long as he's served 1 full year from the start of his last suspension for PEDs then I don't have an issue with the NFL re-instating him.

His last chance im sure but why the heck not give him a shot. Not a violent offense

Yeah maybe but the defense has played better lately. Granted, most defenses look good vs. Wentz but shut down Murray and the Cards pretty well, had a solid second half vs. the Rams and over the last 5 games, the pass rush numbers are on par with the Steelers and Saints. Now, still have a ways to go and issues to address but if they continue to play well down the stretch and into the playoffs, they can do enough to allow the offense to win games. Remember last year at thanksgiving, the Chiefs were ranked in the high teens and were hands down, the best unit when it mattered most. I get how bad they have been but a pass rush really makes a difference. Adams getting healthy, the Dunlap trade and the other guys are starting to step up. Secondary still needs to play a little better at key moments but I'm not a big believer in early season stats meaning a lot. Especially on that side of the ball. Hell, the 2014 L.O.B. was ranked 16th, iirc at midseason.

He played in 5 games and caught 7 passes?!?
Sometimes what a guy like Gordon does won't show up on a stat sheet. If he made it easier for other guys to get open for first downs then he did his job. Nobody is expecting him to get a bunch of targets and catches each game. The bulk of those will go to DK and Lock, but every now and then Gordon will get a key first down, or draw coverage away from the other guys. He's coming in as a #3 or #4 option so whatever he catches is just a bonus.

The idea that Gordan is going to draw a coverage that Freddie Swain wouldn't have is dubious at best.

Gordan is just a jersey at this point in his career that is no different than if you were lining up Geno Smith at the position. No DC is going to alter their game plan in the least or change coverage against the Seahawks because he is on the field IMO. People are giving NFL DC's way more credit and think schemes are way more complicated than they actually are.

not like he was playing very well though. Hopefully they start going to Dissly more. He was great before he got knocked out last season.

He's only 30 so if he screws up again he'll probably get 1 or 2 more chances.

I disagree, only because Swain doesn't have the stud reputation that Gordon had. He is a long way's from being the #1 threat that he once was but he'd still draw more attention than Moore or Swain ever could at this stage in their careers.

They basically had 2 decent receivers with Moore as 3.

Not a lot else. Including running the ball.

Anything added is a good thing, especially if he plays like he can.

They will need him if they have any hopes of winning it all this year. Mahomes has weaponry coming out his arse.
