I just never liked them back in the day. Jealousy maybe a little, I don't know. Always respected them though. I can say that as much as I admired Randy Moss' talent, I despised him as a player.

Understandable. There was were players that I personally met and never cared for like Ty Law, arrogant and one of cheapest bastard I ever met. I used to be at a joint near Bryant College in Smithfield RI where they Patriots would practice until maybe 10 years ago and they would all come in. MGuinnest, Brown, Slade, Saab to name a few were all really cool. In fact one day I'm outside and a guy asked for directions to get back on the highway driving a beige Caddy Seville. I walk over and it's Pete Carroll, first day at training camp, so new to the area.

Randy was actually a quiet and private guy. His son Thad that played for LSU and really good tight end, played his HS ball at Lincoln High School in RI and he would watch his son in the car, because people would bother him for autographs and shit, let the guy watch his kid in peace. My son played against Thad and his team won 14-0

Garrapalo also sucks.

Well, they can ditch him after this year, only a $2.8M dead cap hit as opposed to $27M of actual cap. Can't imagine the 49ers pay him going forward. As a Seahawks fan I pray to God they do because take away the run game and force Jimmy to throw and just make sure everyone is covering the middle of the field within 5-15 yards/Kittle, and RIP Jimmy Garporrlrolrorlolololol.

That said, I'm sure Ken Norton will drop everyone 30 yards every down when Seattle plays San Fran to take away the deep threat that has no business being mentioned with Jimmy Gaprorrlol.

i was expecting a hangover for the 49ers this season and, in that division, wasn't going to be surprised if they missed the playoffs. but, some of this right now is their injury issue.

49ers wont dump him. They are in a position to win now. You dont hand a team like that off to a late 1st round rookie QB. And there aren't other options.

They can draft a QB and start to prepare to move on from Jimmy. But you don't dump him and basically give up on a full season when you have the type of roster that the 49ers will heading into next season.

Edit: One interesting scenario I guess that could play out is the 49ers going after Cam in the offseason. But that is about all that they could do otherwise.

Miami is winning because of Ex -Pats Flores as HC
I don't mind the guy but at the same time most of their troubles of late have been on D and that's his area of expertise. The O has been great this year and you have to credit Gailey for that more so than Flo. I'll give him a pass as the team is in transition and he's learning but can't stand when he messes up challenges. He missed a big one against Seattle when Fitz wasn't over the line when throwing.

To be clear, they were down 16 to the Seahawks with 4 minutes left in the game.
Sure but it wasn't a shit kicking they were in the game at the end. They were also screwed by the spot when the hawks were running down the clock. In reality Fitz is too unpredictable to base anything on though....

Yes can't disagree and so far it looks like the oline has greatly improved which was a big problem. So kudos to Grier on that. D played better last game with Jones back but the niners were obviously off their game.

You also have a semblance of a running game, Parker has stepped up and sustained things.......preston williams TBD, gesicki geesh is he inconsistent............ But theres enough parts to make a respectable attack on a given week.........

Just make sure the Floridians don't try and entice Flores to one of your many dens of ill repute. We don't have that evil here in New England

They're not the only team fighting through injuries...
yeah, with that roster, and some of the games they've played, they should be ok, Plus their stud QB should be able to carry some weight............

Defensively, they are torn up on injuries. The starters who did play were basically non-effective. Offensively, the pass protection was completely atrocious and it was clear that Garoppolo shouldn't be playing - no drive to throw the ball from a weakened ankle. The coaching was ridiculous. They started some cornerback who hasn't played since 2018, and left him alone to get ripped to ratshit for the first half. No adjustments, no help...nothing.

You can only point to injuries for so much....this was far and away much more than that.
Well said... Injuries are definitely a reason for their struggles but yesterday wasn't the main reason for getting blown out...
