You're comparing entire careers, when the question is about only the time they played with LeBron. Wade has obviously had the better career, because AD is just getting going. But when they were playing with LeBron, I give a slight edge to AD. Obviously it's all just opinion, and it's pretty close either way.

You're right. I was comapring entire careers. Thought that's what it was about. But since I missed as a teammate of LeBron I'd go with AD. Thanks for the correction.

I mean, there's more than one way to look at it. But if we are going with total career then his best teammate was Shaq LOL

He had. That's why I said everyone knew he was a great player. But he wasn't quite "that guy" yet. There was still some question as to whether or not he or Kobe was the best player in the NBA.

When Lebron was winning back to back MVP's, Kobe was leading the Lakers to back to back titles and winning back to back finals MVP's.
Kobe had some teammates for those titles. The Cavs teams, not exactly loaded.

Guess I cut him some slack for being on a not good team to start his career. But I not good, I mean awful.

I agree. Lebron had some crap teams in Cleveland a that time. I'm just commenting on what was talked about/debated at the time. Lebron hadn't really separated himself from the other greats yet. That didn't start to happen until year 2 in Miami.

How many times does the best player in the league win MVP?

Both were top 3 and arguably top 2 in the league.

Regardless, this whole conversation started because someone claimed Wade wasn’t at his peak when LeBron joined.

He was damn near it in 2011. He just fell off quickly. Obviously Wade’s peak wasn’t as good as LeBron’s.
The best player had won back to back MVPs before he joined Wades team.

Idk how often. I prolly wouldn't of voted for LBJ this year, since Davis is awesome as well.

I do not believe Wade was at his peak either. Physically. His career certainly started to peak when his surrounding talent spiked though.

So you're saying the answer isn't Tristan Thompson?

LeBron is currently playing with Antetokounmpo. How can he not be the best player he's ever played with? He's the GOAT according to @buckalis. It doesn't even matter that he is just his brother of THE Antetokounmpo, just the fact of being related makes him the best!

I would say yes. However it depends how he plays in the finals. Kyrie and Wade had huge games in the finals...Until AD does...he is not as good

The best player wins when he is still ascending as a talent.

Then he gets a few on his resume and voters continually pass him over for the trendy option that hasn’t got 1 yet.

The best player in the NBA hasn’t won MVP since LeBron last did it. And that was kind of a long time ago.

Kyrie isn’t in this conversation.

nobody in their right mind takes any version of Kyrie over Anthony Davis.

Sorry, Davis is a superstar. Kyrie isn’t.

Kyrie dominated in a finals, AD has yet to play in one

Irrelevant.

AD is a far superior player.

The finals are no longer relevant to you...Plus you have to look at the competition...I doubt the team in the east will be as good as GS, do U agree?

I didn’t say the Finals are irrelevant.

You choose to place more importance on1 3 game sample within a 7 game series than the rest of Kyrie’s career.

That is ignorant.

You may want to go look up Kyries numbers again for reference in multiple finals...He had a bunch of games of 40+ on 60-70% fg....Against possibly one of the greatest teams of all time...

When AD plays similar competition and puts up similar numbers i will say he is better. Up until this point he has never even played in a finals

And next year if healthy the NETS could be very very good

I know what his numbers were.

Like I said, you are basing your entire decision of an extremely small sample in 1 NBA Finals.

And since then every team he has been on has been as good or better when he is sitting out.

Celtics are in their 2nd ECF without him.

They got "gentlemen's swept" in the 2nd round with him.

Wade definitely went downhill that last year, but he's still in the discussion based on his first 2-3 years.
