That last one was the right call. If you know you will need a 2 point conversion eventually you should always go for it as early as possible. That way, you can operate knowing whether you got it or not.

Imagine if Dallas was down by 8 on that last TD drive and played it without urgency because they assumed this was their last possession, THEN missed the two point conversion. They would have lost

I think the 2 point conversion play call war terrible. Spread out all those weapons, maybe fake to Zeke and let Dak have a run?pass option. Much harder to defend than simply lining up and handing it to Zeke, especially with Collins and TSmith out

I tend to agree that every one of those calls were bad. But the hat trick from the Falcons game were brutal and they were flat out lucky to win that game.

And they need the 2 points, just not then. As it made everything more difficult and brought shithouse dumb luck into play.

The 2 point conversion - a case can me made for both ways. The fake punt - I told my son before it happened to watch out for it because Fassel is known for it. I thought it was a great call. They got the look they wanted. The punter just threw it short. It was there.

I think the bigger issue with the fake punt decisions was the 2nd one. It seemed more forced. My only issue with the first one was risk/reward. We saw something and tried to exploit it which is what you are supposed to do, but was the upside of a 50/50 play (maybe 60/40?) worth going for it at your own 29 yard line. If we complete the pass we have first and 10 at the 35. No sure chance to come up with points even if we convert. If we fail they are already in FG range.

I don’t get this new forum. I know I had another post pretty much saying the same thing. I think it is a specific look they are looking for. If the defense hits the gunner on the line they punt it. If he bails it is open. Now the second one not sure what the upback saw. The first one was risky but it was also a good time to do it. Now it’s on everyone’s film. As far as us scoring- I like our chances of scoring everytime we get the ball. To me if we go on and lose that game like we should have , the turnovers would have been to blame. With that said, I thought just as big as a turnover was the holding call before half that put us way behind the chains and we ended up with a FG. In other words, I really thought the Falcons had no answer. We had WRs OrcTEs open all day. For the Falcons though, I really thought they had to work for most of their stuff, with exception of the TE long TD. We were pretty damn close on everything else.

These play likely never happen if the Cowboys did not get sloppy with the ball. I did not like the fake punts . The two point conversion was a terrible play call. The OL just not good enough for that play to succeed. Cowboys need to attack the Seahawks secondary. Gallup and Coop can get open on this secondary. Cee Dee sure as hell will get open. Use zeke as a blocker and receiver more than a runner. Other than Zack nobody on the OL can run block with Tyron and Collins out. William's and Looney getting shoved all over the place. Those two backup tackles not good run blockers
