I think the minimum cash fine is 250,000 per player. That’s over 5 mil.in fines. This way if the Coyotes are a lottery team (feign shock) next season they can keep the odds the same and place the Kraken in the mix. Bottom seven keep the same odds setup as this year.

Coyotes probably opted to give up the picks when the league told them they couldn't count the fines towards their cap floor.
