ideas for the new banner

it appears that our banner is outdated since the name and logo has been retired .

i have reached out to the higher ups as too how to do that

now we need ideas for the washington football team

so some of you guys should have good ideas to design the banner so lets get your ideas together and get a new banner for the season

It's the same team with the same history, just a new name. Remove REDSKINS and the old decal and replace with a 20 as Dean suggested. All good for now!

Truth is, the history, games played, games won & lost, the players, coaches, staff and owners will remain with the rich history known as REDSKINS FOOTBALL. It is and always will be remembered as such and its ties to Washington Football. You can remove any decal, banner or the name REDSKINS, it will always be part of history and I for one will always refer to Washington as the Redskins even though they likely will become the Redwolves. I grew up as a Redskin fan and will always be a Redskin fan.

sorry i dont see it that way . when the redskins name and logo were retired a new team was formed much like the bullets when they turned to wizards just as the zephyrs ceased to be after they became the bullets . they are not the same .

a redwolf is not nor ever be a redskin

the powers that be appear not to want a link to our history . they want a total rebrand and that makes it no more then an expansion team

if they change their way perhaps that would change my position

There are no former players on a rebrand . The redskins team is no more just as the bullets are not the wizard or nationals the expos
