Who had Marcus Smart as the first player to get fined during the restart.

He said after the game that the refs overturned a call so Giannis wouldn't foul out.

I expect he'll be hearing from the league soon.

I disagree. Smart had 2 things against him.

1) He was in the restricted area at first.

2) He was also moving

Don't know how you expect the charge call to stand when you have those 2 things against you

LAC - 5
Indiana +6

I watched four games on Thursday and Friday. I won't watch anymore.

I can't stand watch the officials pander to the stars. They want on a call on every shot they take and just about get it. I was hoping that the shortened season and bubble living would make the officiating a bit more unbiased. They still suck. I admit, I'm a Celtic fan and watching the game last night was agonizing. The Bucks went up by five and pretty much maintained it through the first half and into the third. At the end of the third it was 87 all. Then the C's made a 3 and went up by three. The roof caved in and the Greek was given pure immunity along with Lopez. The final was 199-112.

The NBA so panders to its stars that people are beginning to turn away. When LeBron gets to line 22 times in a game, score 48 points and 36 of them are free throws, that's not basketball. I love watching Lebron play his game. Not shoot free throws. I'm 70 years old and fat and I can make 70% of my FTs. I can't dunk or run the court in less than 3 minutes.

Get rid of the officials and let the players call their own fouls. The games would be cleaner.

this is possibly the dumbest post i've seen on here in a while.

Lebron avg 5 free throws per game.

Players like Rudy Gobert and Spencer Dinwiddie get to the line more times than Lebron.

WTF are you talking about?

I was using it as an example not a fact. I apologize to Lebron. My point is that guys like Harden are always on the line. The guiy can shoot the lights out and doesn't need twent gifts a game.

Sorry for the misunderstanding

You know the only guard who's in the top fifty all time in single season free throw attempts other than Harden in the modern era?

Oh boo fuckin' hoo. You want some cheese with your whine?

"I'm a Celtics fan"

Yeah so am I. But I won't use excuses. The Celtics had their opportunities and didn't take care of business. Tatum couldn't hit anything last night (2-18). The Celtics only hit 11 of 37 from downtown. Kemba only played 19 minutes. And they dug themselves into a 17-2 hole to start the game.

You just now figured out that the league has a different set of rules for superstars? Shit I figured that out in the 1980's.

And all you really wanna do is bitch about the NBA anyway. Otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned LeBron. Who by the way had nothing to do with the game. Why no mention of all the FT's Harden takes? I bet that's different right?

That was close.

I think it was a legit block, but not convinced it was clear enough to overturn the original ruling.

Also doesn’t help the case for Giannis that the officials reviewed a potential “hostile act” seconds before in which no foul was called.

1 way or the other, Giannis probably should have fouled out.

new all know that it’s hard for the refs to foul at starts. And I include celtics stars too
