Day 2 and folks are already bitching about the refs.

THE NBA IS BACK!!

Last night was way better then expected...I for sure thought it was going to be a shit show lol

1) They fixed my main complaints, of bad camera angle and terrible commentators

2) Virtual fans thing is awesome imo, the pumped in sound not so much. But compare it to baseball with completely empty stadiums which is just weird imo

You almost forget that it's not a real live crowd game when watching...Until the fake sound gets pumped in...Overall it was pretty decent imho

That can be a benefit if they are smokers...A lot of strippers smoke too

Yeah, the play was intense. A bit sloppy (to be expected), but intense. It had a playoff feel to it.

The NBA and NHL both a have a bit of an advantage. They don't show the crowd as much in their broadcasts, the cameras are focused on the court and there aren't really natural breaks where the camera would be showing the crowd.

Makes there being no fans less noticeable.

Kind of agree on the fake fan noise, but I was able to tune it out.

Miracle Opening 2 days for the Spurs

They got every single result to go their way, and won their game without Lamarcus Aldridge and Patty Mills

Somehow, someway, in this dead ass season, the Spurs now control their own destiny.

Now, I expect them to lose 7 in a row, because 2020 is 2020 after all, and any sort of HOPE is cruelly extinguished.
