if there is no season, will Tampa bay not have the best offense that went from the most interception to none?
Amazing improvement!*

No fans, no preseason and pandemic going on is making for a unique year in sports we hopefully don't see again. UT it remains still a very unique season.

As is if the season just plays out with no preseason and no fans do you put any * on stats and team accomplishments or failures and whoever wins the Super Bowl?

I don't think I do yet but if they have to cancel and push back chunks of the season then I probably do.

I'll put one on for each sport I follow for sure.

But it won't lessen any titles won.

Unless the Bodgers win the WS.

But mentally I will always know that 2020* was the "pandemic title".

What would make me put an *... Get to the Superbowl and 40 players of the AFC Team come down with Covid and they award the trophy to the other team in a forfiet.

No, everybody is on the same level playing field.

Not really, some states are having big spikes of Covid and may not allow games to be played there.
And if your home team goes on the road, increases the chance of bringing it back home and spreading it.
If one person tests positive, the whole team has to quarantine for 2 weeks...
I can't see how they can do it according to state and city guidelines....
I think the season is tanked....Go fishing, it's a lot safer and you won't have to hear the political circus....

Because not everyone is. Some stadiums will be allowed to have fans while others not.

Will having some fans in the stands be a benefit?

Or will exposure to fans screaming in a bowl full of germs create more positive players?

Fans in the stands will have 0 impact on getting players playing on the field positive.

Teams with fans in the stadium does serve as a benefit over teams who cannot.

Because you said so.....

Because it's obvious. A road team having to face absolutely no noise pollution when in huddle and at the line of scrimmage on offense is going to remove almost all of the home field advantage in a game. Compared to teams that will be allowed to have fans in attendance.

Good question. If it’s played out in full 17 weeks, yes. Anything short would have *
But, how likely is that? I venture to say we have no idea right now.

I agree that not having fans in the stands severely lessens the home field advantage but would you really think less of the team who won by denoting them with an asterisk? The visiting team had zero to do with that decision.
