I guess. Hopefully he was signed at a pretty reasonable number. You don't need 3 guys running go routes though.

I would love to see Gordon come back to Seattle.

My theory on this signing is it seems the FO wants a KC type look on offense. It's easier to stay 1on1 with a slower WR but 3 speedy WRs will have to draw more players eyes and opening up the middle of the field more. If the LBs stay home than Russ has his 1on1 down field.

Well I certainly think that Russ is more than capable of running such an offense. But I'm highly dubious that Pete would embrace such an offense.

I feel Pete offense is much like Al Davis offenses. Run the ball, run the ball, run the ball, go long.

Yeah. I would love to see him adjust and play an more open offense that reflects the skill set of this team. But I don't see it happening.

No don't see it changing either. It's not like it hasn't been productive during Pete's reign. The trenches have been the problem for Pete for the most part. When the trenches are strong his teams do well, when they aren't the team does OK or at least not awful.

Yes he can run that type of offense but you have to have the weapons to execute it properly. I don't think Pete will run it like KC but I have a feeling we'll see a more up beat tempo.

Might be forced to, but won't count on it TBH.

Then there's really zero reason to sign Dorsett unless a change to the offense takes affect. I'm not saying an over haul but a tweek here and there.

I'm hoping he changes a little bit. More like 55/45 pass run ratio.
Not counting runs by our QB (which were mostly not designed as run plays), we were 56% pass and 44% run in 2019.

Very interesting. So we stay the same but add a speedier WR to the mix.

Who knows...

If you count RW's rush attempts, we ran 48% and passed 52%

If you take out RW's rush attempts, we ran 44% and passed 56%

Most of RW's rush attempts were not planned but were called passing plays... IMO, they're already hovering around the 55/45 mark...

I'm good with the 55/45 with healthy RBs. I think adding Dorsett with a little more speed opens up the offense a bit more

I would like to know how the break down of run/pass is in 1st and 2nd half of games. Is there some place that has those stats by half?

they were pretty much 50/50 between halves, i would never have guessed that.

This gives me the sads. You forgot Benson Mayowa but that doesn't really change things much.
