I've punched a number of teammates.

And been punched by others.

Shit happens when people go hard.

The Pacers should've punched each other more. Throughout their history. Maybe they would've won something. But, they didn't. So here we are.

I love how the proponents of that shit argue out of both sides of their mouth. Either the excuse is the Bulls were too young or the Pistons were just thugs.

Three or even four hall of famers on those Pistons teams.

But they were thugs.

Do all of y'all know the story about Steve Kerr's dad?

Yes. Tragic.

And I don’t know which opponent, but some savage college fans started chanted “PLO” while Kerr was on the FT line in a big moment.

He swished them both and then flicked off the crowd.

It is all true.

The Pistons were thugs. The Bulls were too young.

The Pistons were also a very good basketball team.

Winners win.

Do something about it. Nobody wins by being an angel.

I guess I'm still more put off about how Isiah is viewed historically. I never saw John Stockton put up a 25 point quarter. He was a hell of a player no doubt but in almost every instance we start the convo at counting rings and playoff success. Except when it comes to Isiah. It's just odd.

Oh they were good. That era of Piston b-ball was very good.

But they were thugs and they thrived on that image.

And it was more than an image it was real.

It's a badge of honor for them I think.

And I don't begrudge them at all.

It was fun watching basketball, the worst "sport" of all, back then.

He is definitely pushed aside in a way when it comes to all-time great PG's IMO

It seems like this is how most view these PG's imo. I feel like Tier 3 is much lower than Tier 2 but I would argue CP3 and Isiah Thomas are in between Tier 2 and Tier 3.

Tier 1
Magic

Tier 2
Oscar
West (PG and 2 guard but I list him as a PG)
Steph (I feel like everyone knows he will eventually be above Oscar and West...not yet though)
Stockton

Tier 3
Kidd
Nash
Thomas - should be higher
CP3 - should be higher
Frazier

I just think time hasn't been friendly to Isiah at all. His stint as a gm first and foremost probably helping that along

He could've put up gaudier stats had he not played on such good teams imo.

I do agree Oscar is above him and it's kind of hard to argue West. And Curry has revolutionized the game

But he's right there with the others. I would take him every day of the week over Stockton. But I'm a homer.

Kerr seems like a great guy, I suspect some who don't like him don't like him because of his political views.

Yeah I don't see many that view Stockton-Thomas equal or Thomas above Stockton. Stockton assists leader and great defender, Isiah the better scorer and a true #1 and ultimate competitor. If they were on the court together facing off it's closer than the "all-time rankings" say.

Isiah - much better scorer
Stockton - much better shooter
Stockton - much better defender but steal numbers are 2.2-1.9. Very close.
I feel like they were both great passers - assists 10.5-9.3. Closer than people think.

Who knows Isiah could have been a 22-25 ppg guy on a lesser team. I would still take Stockton but definitely closer than it is viewed.

It was Arizona State. They were doing that in warm-ups and he scored like 30 points on 7-7 from 3 or something like that

Being a thug is better than being a fake thug like Draymond and KD lol
You have to ask John Beilein....

KD is a bitch. Draymond has been away from home too long. His heart has grown soft in all that sunshine.
