Yes- Next year has some pretty solid OT’s in it. I hope we aren’t picking in the top 15 but if we do.....

With working at home and with kids around listening to discusssions wonder how many of the GM kids discussed trades and such over snapchat. Interesting

Also Tampa could not trade up starting at 8. Noone wanted to move back so T at 13 was Wirfs and Denver may have him as a RT.

The value to move from 14 to 9 was a 3rd and a 4th.

I noticed that the colleges must have got together and bought the best recruit families all black leather recliners. The Tua family was set up very - very nicely (Thank you Alabama).

I hope Elway knows what he’s doing because they could be in for a lot of 2nd guessing.

Josh Jones/Cleveland and Devoneay vs
Hamler and OJ

would you rather have a developmental CB or developmental OT .

Bolles is the whole crux to this draft

Protection by projection.

We put 5 legit weapons out on the field in any form (WR, TE, RB), they have to cover them. No more ridiculous stunts or blitzes, which means less time for Lock to hold the ball.

If ding dong (and we all know who I mean) can quit pretending he's grabbing a boob on every play, we'd probably be okay.

That's and NFL draft for you. Every draft is always going to be a lot of second guessing. There is no way around that outside hitting heavy on EVERY pick which is just impossible. Every team is going to make mistakes in this draft when you look back at it.

This is a huge year for Bolles. Maybe having the same oline coach 2 years in a row will help. He did play better towards the end of last year. If we get that Bolles for 19 games, we will be fine.

Any fun draft memories this year to share?

I have a few

The Michael Ojemudia pick... I was texting a bunch of people pleading for Cameron Dantzler there... The pick is in... I hear Goodall announce it. I hear "MICHAEL" quickly thinking WHO THE HELL IS MICHAEL... Thinking what a letdown this is going to be... Then I hear Ojemudia and it was such a weird feeling for me. Not the guy I was pleading for there, but a guy I personally knew well... It was like mixed feelings, part of me felt dirty for not jumping up and down in the air that OJ had just been drafted by my own team. I didn't know how to react. I was excited yet letdown at the same time because we passed on the guy I really wanted. I just didn't expect Ojemudia to ever end up in Denver, and if we didn't I wasn't expecting it at 77. It felt very much like the Kayvon Webster pick all over to me... As the draft finishes I am very happy they did take him because all I could think about was I am happy this guy is getting his opportunity with the team I root for. My phone was blowing up after that pick... I was trying to process it all and everyone was blowing me up about how thrilled I must be... It was a weird feeling for me, I just sorta froze like.... WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED????

When Tyrie Cleveland was selected, my brother wanted me to call him near the end of the draft to face time so we could keep our tradition alive of watching the final pick together... I called him as the pick was in for Denver's first 7th rounder... 5 seconds into the call it pops up Tyrie Cleveland... I was stunned with excitement. I gave him no time of the day as he was trying to talk to me about his Dolphins picks. I said I GOTTA GO! Hung up the phone... Made sure to call him back right before the final pick by the Giant was made to keep him happy about the tradition. I had to explain to him why I hung up so abruptly.

Those are two picks I had never imagined Denver making... You would have to be me to understand the excitement.. Just act interested at least... ok? ;)

I ordered three draft deal meals this year for every day
Panda Express
Zio Johno's
Pancheros

I can hear the frustration in SpringStein's voice when his Packers drafted ZERO WR's, in what was probably on paper the best WR draft in NFL history! ;)

I had the neighbor lady from across the street blowing up my phone on Friday night to tell me how much she enjoyed the draft and how next year I need to come over to her place and have a BBQ with her and her family to watch the draft, and make it a tradition? I still have to find a nice easy way to tell her no.... Haven't worked up the courage yet. I am hoping that thought passes. (They really aren't football fans)

Someone ruined the Laviska Shenault pick to me because their TV was ahead of mine (I won't mention any names)

What else? Someone has to have a story or two from draft night(s)

Bolles last 5 games were better. Let's hope they don't change up a lot of what he was doing because he seemed to figure it out.

I was big for Devoneay - he was one of my favorite players in the draft. I'll take Hamler over him with Jeudy on board.

I think -in looking back - the Broncos sat on their hands for OT - so they must hear from Munch that he's got it - not to worry.

The OTs from last year - both looked better with Lock in for the last 5 games. The reason for that is the Broncos became less predictable.

Devin Duvernay has been mu 3rd rd target in all mocks after taking a WR in Round 1.

Duvernay has very good explosion and would be a treat to watch underneath.

Another random thought

Glad it is the Bengals that Joe Burrow is going to. Easy to root for and I think Burrow is gonna be fantastic. This is the break the Bengals franchise needs.

The AFC is getting saturated with young QB talent since 2017:

Watson
Mahomes
Jackson
Mayfield might bounce back
Darnold
Allen
Lock
Burrow
Tagovailoa
Herbert

Lawrence could be a Jag
