Then we inked Austin MacGinnis, an XFL product for a little kicker competition when the teams return for either shortened OTAs or camp.

Depends on who you read, apparently we have signed both A-Rob and Floyd. This doesn't make alot of sense in light of all the dead money being paid out to Gurley, Matthews, and Cooks in the form of roster bonuses and contract obligations and our reported cap hell mess.

Looks as though teams are adding players that played in the XFL. Turns out some of them are pretty damn good and they come very cheap. Maybe we will add more than just a real good kicker in MacGinnis.

If anyone is wondering why the Rams moved both Gurley and Cooks other than the litany of reasons we already are aware of, Ramswire has a great article explaining yet another angle. Looks as though McSnead wanted to go through cap hell now and clear the books for the FAs to be signed in 2021 such as Ramsey, JJ, and Kupp. This was a good move as the Rams will be done with all the dead money being paid to Gurley and Cooks. I bet the Rams will no longer sign players to early extensions.
The only way out I guess. Well we had three years of good football to watch and cheer. So lets hope the boy wonder can pull a rabbit out of this hat.

There is one of those what ifs articles on Ramswire about the possibility of the Rams trading into the first round. The only guy maybe worth doing that is maybe Becton. Other than him, Sims maybe worth it. But if not, we would be doing ourselves a disservice by giving up those two seconds and maybe more for a guy who we could use if he plays up to his hype. With all draft picks, that possibility exists. I say we should stay put and go with two potentially great picks in the second.

There was a great article on SeeBS that listed ten players the author would take who are undervalued in this draft. One guy is a player SJ76 has been touting, that being Cam Akers. Another is Tyrell Lewis, the Alabama LB we brought in for a face-to-face. There are several other players the Rams have interest in that made the list and we shall see how this one plays out.

It would not be in the Rams best interest to trade up into the 1st.

They have a lot of holes to fill and not many quality picks to do so.

Also, I believe, because of the lack of workout/pro days this year and the way the draft is being done, there will be guys falling more so than usual.

This years draft will be the proverbial crap shoot.

I do believe Snead will trade down with at least one of his 2nds or 3rds to try and get an extra 4th or a 5th (since they do not have one).

Just not sure how much trading will go down since teams were not able to workout these players.

I think you are right ALR, on several points. I believe Snead will trade down in the third like he did last year and accumulate more picks or he will find a trade partner like the Patriots, Chiefs, Packers and an unknown to do what he did last year and we will end-up with some really good players that will fall because of no pro-days, etc. Many of those types of players were in that SeeBS article. Guys like Cam Akers, Damion Taylor, and Tyrell Lewis.

This just in... I take 80% of my shits in the am. 8% of the time it’s late at night. 9% of time mid-day. 3% of the time I’m drunk and don’t know what time it is.

I can twist some of those if you’d like and make it look pretty. Let me know if you’d like the breakdown
True Covid Era fodder, SJ making shits look pretty!!

That's what I like to see. Goff wants to win.

Rams QB Jared Goff on the possible restructuring of his contract, if it gives the team more cap space: "If so, I'm all for it. I don't see why not. It doesn't change anything for me, and it helps the team out."

It really shouldn’t matter to him anyways. He still gets all his money, and by restructuring, he gets more of it now.

But, nice to see a player with the right attitude.

If only he was really focused on the team before he signed his deal and was willing to take less aka Brady. Now, that would’ve impressed me more.

Yea Goff is on-board, but if the rumors of his late-night partying are true, he needs to let that go and focus on his career. He can do that shit-faced nonsense later. He only has one shot at his career. Focus dude!!

Oh I see good point. The time to help himself by adding and keeping talent on the team was at the signing.
