you were doing very, very well until the "nothing like the flu" comment. Agree with everything else, as I have the entire time.....yet you continue to want to argue for some reason.

See, to me, when it comes to beaches, parks and other outdoor activities it depends.

I've seen beach pictures where there are a bunch of people partying and hanging out together. That's not real bright.

But I've also seen pictures where people were at the beach with well over 6 feet of distance between them, which wouldn't be an issue.

I also saw one of guys playing pickup basketball. On one court, there were teams of 5 guys each. Unless they all somehow knew they weren't infected...not the best idea.

On another court, it was 2 guys playing 1 on 1. That's probably fine if they were friends or family members.
Actually let my son do the latter with a friend. Each used separate balls. Not 1 on 1. Just shooting.

worst situation has been for daughter from OU. Usually a pretty social kid and this is rough on her (like I'm sure it is most like her).

after a week of being inside took her saturday with me to drop off some food to her grandmother (she stayed in hall).

Let her drive. such a smile when we got going. saw a person walking and screamed, "OMG....another human!!!!

Love that kid.

Yo, I just came here to tell you to avoid YouTube because the same dickhead that spoiled Endgame is doing the same to Black Widow.

Almost Every single thing he said about Infinity War and Endgame was accurate.

So, beware.....

do you really not get saying "not just like flu" and "completely different in every way possible" is not the same thing?

You have a lot going on, so that's the last I'll say on this aspect of the topic to you.

Stay safe.

Every single link says " Not like the flu ".

You are talking about symptoms, I said the virus.

Next time, take the extra 5 seconds needed for comprehension.

Lmfao..

Or, continue to try to be right based on semantics.

Spin, Son.

Spin.

That doesn't seem out of the ordinary for the flu IMO.
What about this?

Dr. Matt McCarthy, a staff physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital

A lot of people have been comparing COVID-19 to the flu, but that is not true at all.

This is an extremely insidious virus. Once it gets into the lungs, it starts killing cells as it moves along. And once enough cells are killed off, it becomes increasingly difficult to breathe

It does this by attaching to and reproducing in tissue inside the lungs, where it kills cells in the process of spreading.

As the cells are killed they drop off the lungs’ linings and build up in clumps inside the organs, making it hard to breathe and triggering further infections.

The virus can also send the immune system into overdrive as it tries to fight off infection, triggering swelling which can lead to more breathing difficulties.

With this national crisis going on you think LAbron stocked up on hair tonic? If he didn't the rest of his hair might fall out.

Yep. But hasn't changed much for us as grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, restaurants remain open and no one really being told they cannot work no matter what they do (no doubt many are not working, though).

Bro has client with Amazon who said Seattle is close to a true lockdown. No one on streets. Certain stores open (grocery, pharmacy) but if on streets police ask where you are going.

Not in Arizona.

They closed a few bars, libraries and pools at some hotspot Hotels in Scottsdale.

That's about it.

We have like 5 Amazon Warehouses here.

All are hiring and delivering daily.

I got a package yesterday.

@ChiefsLakers67 , @trojanfan12 ,

Doesn't @Shaqdaddy11 live in the Seattle area?

Has she been here over the last week?

Yep, here in NY I'm working from home, but we just got reduced to 4 days/week and we can't use vacation to cover the 5th day each week. So, it will start to hurt a bit monetarily. Restaurants are only open here for drive thru, pick-up or delivery, no on-site dining. Non-essential businesses are closed. The supermarket rush has died down a bit, but TP is still tough to come by (have to be there when the store opens).

Nope.

Business as usual.

Very few places have closed outside of Public Libraries, Schools.

I meant the 5 day in bed thing, not COVID-19 in general.

We had a grocery, TP shortage for like 4 days.

It's all back to normal now. But, nonperishable items have a limit.

Here restaurants are also pick-up or delivery only. Pharmacies are open. Can go to the grocery store. The doctor. And you can go out to grab items for family memebers or neighbors that can't get out. The TP situation. WTF is that? How much TP do people need? But those are the yo-yo's that don't understand that there's not a national TP shortage. Idiots.

And to make sure shit didn't blow the fuck up here & people lost thier minds beer/liquor places are open. Don't even care about that. But was happy when the state announced all medical marijuana dispensaries are open. But no medical ones.
