We've seen this before. If they can't move him, even if the Rams pay part of his salary, they'll either just cut him and deal with the dead money issue, or reluctantly play him. (That signing bonus though.)

Not so sure with the moves the Cards have made thus far. Filled the major holes on Defense still have the #8 pick added DHop. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved in to second place.

As far as I know the Seahawks still have an elite Russell Wilson. We will see how Kyler does in year 2. Hopefully for him he doesn't have the 2nd year slump, DHop should help.

Funny I had that discussion recently with a friend and they were arguing there were plenty of RB's that had long life spans. So I asked them to name any except for Gore and they mentioned Darren Sproles.
Trying to explain to them that Gore attempted more rushes in 2 seasons vs Sproles entire 14 year career and the fact he missed a whole season just didn't sink in. So I just let it go.


Yes they were serious about this.
