Brady a Tampa Bay Buc...screw this virus, that is the beginning if the end of the world right there. No idea what that means for Evans/Godwin. More efficient offense mist likely, but the GOAT isnt throwing 50 yard jump balls like Winston did

trading for Janovich from broncos should be a nice boost to open lanes for Chubby. Vikes ran lots of plays with a FB and Cook was able to utilize nicely.
Ampipe is a friggin road grater, and a damned fine receiver too. Denver totally blew a great opportunity for some diverse offensive plays for those 3 years. Hope AVP realizes what he's got

TeddyB in Carolina...excellent news for CMAC's ppr value, kinda shitty for DJ Moore

I guess you missed the 5 games last year where Thomas was peppered by Bridgewater?

stat line with Teddy at the helm

I'd argue you can kiss any Curtis Samuel shares away with Teddy before saying Moore is going to do worse than what he got from Kyle Allen/Grier last year

I see 4 games under a hundred yards, saved by TD's, and one against TB, and i think my mother had an 8 catch, 2 score day against them last year. and DJ ain't Michael Thomas, in size or ability. Samuel is the strong WR screen/over the middle, slot type route runner that the newest Cpt. Checkdown loves. Sorry, I totally see this as terrible news for DJ, good or indifferent for Samuels, and great for CMAC

targets/recs/yds - that's what you want for fantasy, no?
agree that it'll fall mostly on CMC's shoulders, but can't imagine anything being worse than the QB play the panthers had last year

still think they'll draft a QB this yr too, so if Bridgewater stinks, they'll bench him

Not all that much IMO. Here's the first 8 game logs for Chubbs with out Hunt.

View attachment 235342

Last 8 game logs with Hunt.

View attachment 235343

These ^^^are actual game logs.
Chubbs:

first 8 games ( without Hunt)
13 targets
11 receptions

last 8 games ( with Hunt)
32 targets
25 receptions

just noticed this - you have your games backwards.
check out the dates on the far left in your pictures.

Hunt definitely stole a hefty chunk away from Chubb last year

Brady is no dummy. The NFC South is essentially the AFC East. One good team can run the table.

Brady is gutsy leaving NE. He will be expected to win that division. And just win. Thats a lot of pressure.

Oh no doubt's. And I ain't saying DJ is gonna suck or anything, I just don't see him continuing to be better than the year before, ya know? If he gets 1100 and 5, I think thats pretty much the ceiling. And I'm sure TeddyB is an improvement over Allen and Grier, except that it'll just be a smoother offense, on where 3&8 doesn't automatically equal punt. Not one that scores significantly more, and Moore wasnt exactly a TD magnet. So..shortened version, I guess I'm saying his potential to be great, is being hamstrung, not that he's gonna go down the crapper into obscurity

Ben Roethlisberger, Kirk Cousins contracts drop Dak Prescott's franchise tender - ProFootballTalk

"As a result, Prescott’s franchise tender has dropped, thanks to Cousins and Roethlisberger, from $31.62 million to $28.55 million. That’s more than $3 million lost — and it could go even lower if Goff and Wilson restructure their contracts."

He passed on 30 million(for 2 million) last season and 33 million this year plus he's a year or two further away from his next contract whomever is advising him has cost him some money. To compound things if he had signed last year he would have been in the first FA class to benefit from the new TV contracts since he didn't he either misses a year of inflated contracts, holds out early for a new contract, or signs a short contract now.

So, Carolina can pay a guy like Teddy Bridgewater an average of 20 mil a year, but Houston can't pony up the moolah for one of the best WRs in the game? A lot of different stories coming out now. @SmokingMonkey, I agree; Houston, there is a problem.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports DeAndre Hopkins' reps told the Texans weeks prior to the trade that he wanted a new deal paying him somewhere between $18-$20 million per year.
Russini added, "The team was told Hopkins wouldn't show, if he didn't get the deal. Houston moved forward with trade." Friction reportedly existed between Hopkins and Texans coach Bill O'Brien prior to the trade. It turns out the source of those problems was likely money. The deal will pay Hopkins (rightfully) as one of the league's top WRs, something the Cardinals have plenty of room to handle while Kyler Murray remains on a rookie contract. Hopkins is owed $39.9 million over the next three years — a relative bargain at his $13.1 million AVV.

you don't take on the 4th highest RB contact in the league through trade if money was the determining factor. seems like a convenient story for ESPN to release, just like Cam and Olsen "mutually" agreeing to part ways with the panthers.

somehow ESPN has become the PR spin factory for NFL teams over the last few yrs instead of just reporting what's going on.

They've been heading that way ever since the NFL made them shut down "Playmakers", which was a friggin great show.

Hopkins came out and said he loved his time in Houston, doesn't want to stir anything up....a complete class act.
was super active in the community too.

really just looks like an internal power struggle and BOB had the power to get rid of him, so he did.
Even so, love seeing that he didn't get proper value out of it, sorry @Barilko
