Powell has really dropped off since mid January. He's the best player in the country when he's on, but that's only about half the time. Compare that with Jalen Brunson when he won. The efficiency was just so much better.

I've watched Howard for 4 years. His numbers are unbelievable but it doesn't translate to wins.

Carey is too meat and potatoes. He keeps you in games, but won't win you games.

Toppin is great but his team hasn't really beaten anybody.

He won't win, but my vote goes to Pritchard. Better stats and he really propels his teams to wins.

If I had to pick one player for one game though, no doubt Powell. If he's on, you're beating anybody. If he's off, you're sunk, but you take that chance.

I'd add Udoka Azubuike to the list. I don't think he'll win it, but I would put him ahead of some others listed. The last two seasons they are 32-3 with him and 17-10 without him. He just doesn't have the gaudy numbers some of his counterparts have.

I'd have to admit that Garza if you're considering stats/efficiency and lifting his team is probably the winner. But I haven't seen enough of him play.

And every time I see Iowa, they're getting blown out on the road.

Hey i think we only got our doors blown off once ( at Purdue ). I think we are 6-7 in road/neutral this year? Not great but given how well other B10 teams have fared in road games ill take it lol

It's Garza clearly imo right now.

Howards supporting cast and fucked up face hurt his chance. Marquette has to win their last 3 regular season(at least) for him to have a chance.

Powell as a canidate is a fucking farce.

Pritchard could challenge with a crazy finish. Carey is sick but hes just a worse Garza this year so that makes no sense.

He won't win the POY, but if South Dakota makes the tournament, I could see a guy like Tyler Hagedorn making a lot of noise. Averaging just under 20ppg and shooting over 50% from 3.
